Re: Enfys Nest Protection Up is broken

Hi @Formerly_Randy and thanks for the report!

Nest's Unique ability "Fighting Instinct" is very effective, and requires specific strategies to defeat. It is working as intended, and therefore isn't a bug.

In order to defeat Nest, you either have to kill her in one hit, or let her take a turn. When she takes a turn, her bonus protection will disappear. Teams like Rebels and RJT-led Resistance have many skills that reduce turn meter, and you need to avoid using those skills on Nest.

Be forewarned that a zeta Nest also gains a large amount of health steal, so an effective tactic is to stun or daze her to prevent counterattacks, and then preferably stun her before she takes a turn so she cannot heal from the damage she's sustained.

Alternative means of killing her involve Nihilus' "Annihilation" skill, or using characters that bypass protection, like Embo or Sith Assassin.

Good luck adapting your strategy!

  • That's a joke right?  Explain to me logically how a normal character such as Enfys Nest can not die to a team with four legendaries and Han Solo.  I get that certain things in this game strategy wise aren't exactly canon, but this is ludicrous.  I can beat Revan lead teams, Sith teams, Rebel teams, Resistance teams, every other character in the game.  But lowly Enfys Nest is the ONE exception??

I used to sub in Nihilus for cases such as this, but after the inclusion of C3PO and the nerf to bonus protection for Nest and others, I figured that this would have been taken care of.  This is silly, plain and simple.

HI, it's not a joke - but it's all about the strategy you employ. Enfys Nest can easily die to the CLS rebel team if you stagger her hits. Start the battle off stunning her with Han. When she stands up, use Han's first special on her - she should be mostly dead and stunned again.

When she stands up a third time, Han's basic should basically finish her off (especially if Chewie is Guarding him).

If you leave her as the last character alive, that's the absolute worst situation for you to be in, because Han and CLS basics will remove her turn meter and leave her with bonus protection for longer.

Certain situations require specific strategies to win - and in this case you have to adjust your strategy to beat your opponent.

It's the same idea with using an RJT team to beat solo Nest. The only way to beat her is to stop using specials and switch to basic attacks. Once she stands up from a stun, you have to hit her with a really high-damage attack to take out a chunk of her health. Stun her again, and repeat.

She's definitely not invincible, but she can seem that way if you employ the wrong strategy against her.

If you'd like to suggest that the Developers change her kit, that sort of feedback is appropriate in the Feedback Forums. However, her kit is working as intended right now, so it's not a bug. Thanks and good luck!
