Re: Italian localization

Hey man how old are you ? This game is for 16+ people, or less with parental authorisation. But at 16 years old you should be able to translate that... The vocabulary used in the game isn't hard to understand.

In the evening, after a day of work, I can not do it.

And then, I am italian, and so a game, as mass effect or The old republic, has to be dubbed in italian.

Otherwise I don't buy or/play it.

  • As German I had to grin about a French telling an Italian fellow Player to get better in English.

You are both right, more languages would be great, and for an start it would really help if at least the texts are translate,

but getting better in English is also something we would all profit from.

It is not a problem of knowledge of English, but  a game, as mass effect or The old republic, if it dubbed in italian, I don't buy or/play it. (matter of principle)

In fact, despite being a super fan of the trilogy of ME, I have not bought Andromeda. (due to the absence of Italian dubbing) (although with great regret)

I understand your point completely, might not be with you so completely with you but that is  another story.

Training might in your case be an better word then knowledge.

I use english, in my work, and in the evening, after a whole day of work, I am tired, and no longer want and head, to read in English.

    And so here's why.

And so, no thanks, I buy game, as ME, only if it dubbed in italian.

So I guess there are only french, german and english versions ? But why not English, Mandarin and spanish, since these are the 3 most spoken languages, by number of speakers ?

    By Numbers of Speakers yes,

but Finical wise France and German are a very big Group

and both are so used to fully translated Versions that they tend to ignore any non native Language supported Products.

They will also be the most spoken languages, but I am Italian, and I am not English, French, German, Spanish or Chinese.

I can understand that it would be nice to have the game in nearly all languages, but sadly this will not happen.

There are no plans for any more translated languages in the game, either with subtitles or voice over (which is really expensive these days).

I would believe that there are fan-translated subtitles out there in the web though.

EULA of The old repubblic does not allow you to use mod.

    You should know that.

If I game, as The old republic, didn't traslate in italian, I don't play and/or buy it. (neither 40 euro nor 1 euro)

PS: Mass Effect Andromeda didn't dub in Italian, and so I don't buy it (neither now nor in the future).

I'm sorry because I'm a super fan of the Mass Effect saga.

Then I am very sorry to not see you in the game.

Sadly, there is nothing we can change about this and probably won't in the future.

When there will be no more games translated into Italian, then I will stop playing videogames.

Many italian, fan of kotor's saga, don't play to The old republic, for my same reason.

Me too, I will not change my mind.
If a game, like ME or the old republic, not dubbed in Italian , I do not spend even a penny.

If Anthem will not be dubbed in Italian I will not even buy that.
