It’s weird. Not so a problem if you play with aging on and only normal sim but with occults, especially vampires or witches with the immortal trait its awful. Because of this I have the rule occults are don’t allow to have children after gen 3 (founder is gen 1 for me). In my mind I explain it so that all occults have a curse which strike if they in gen 3.

@daikoyu  Yeah, exactly! That's one of my mixed occult families; Nora is a witch with the Immortal trait who drinks a lot of Potion of Rejuvenation, and the whole side of the tree with Caleb are vampires.The other side of the family is my Super Sim, so she's been a vampire and a spellcaster (not simultaneously) so she could do every aspiration and her children include a regular Sim who decided to eat mermadic kelp, 😉 a vampire, and a mermaid (her husband is a merman). And yes, there have been alien abductions and we keep the children, as you see in the tree. We built a Servo at one point, too.  :D

So yeah, for a vampire... yikes.  I was watching Savannah's Legacy Challenge series on YouTube and she has autonomous woohoo and try for baby turned on in MCCC, and one of her heirs decided to autonomously knock up his great-great-Aunt because she has a bunch of normal humans and a single vampire. Yikes! She downloaded a new mod so she could set the vampire as his Aunt (and used MCCC to clear the pregnancy).

I mean, I don't have that setting and can just choose not to act on the romance options that are available, which is what I'm doing, but it was a bit jarring when I saw it.

The woman with the two-toned hair is an actress and was able to rehearse romance scenes with Caleb even though he's her step-grandfather, but I can kind of see that because they're no blood relation.

Edited to add: Alas, I needed great-grandchildren for Nora because my Super Sim Judith (her daughter) was doing Big Happy Family.

Yeah, my poor vampire was abducted the day he aged up to YA and the alien there is the result, lol.

You can't add Servos to family trees unless you marry them, which we didn't. 

I haven't played with plantsims in this save, but I have another one where my gardener becomes a plantsim from time to time.

I think the problem with PlantSims is that they 1. They were a Time-Limited Event first 2. They... just sims with green skins? I would say there not really occults. I loved the plant sims from sims3 but ins sims4 you eat the forbidden fruit and have a buff for 5 days. With Cool Kitchen stuff you have the ice Plant Matter and here you only a sim with green skin.

@xochiquetzl_xkvnI hope your alien don’t erase memories; my alien loves it to use it on her wife(Vanilla). I think she don’t like her wife or my story (They now married for the 4te time!)

@daikoyu @sailornaru  Yeah, my gardener becomes a PlantSim from time to time in another save, but the problem is that it's only for five days, and the only special ability they get is talking to plants.  Since the easiest way to become a PlantSim is to become a high level gardener and spam-open rare seed packets, that means that the people most likely to become PlantSims can already talk to plants. They do have special, different needs, but in a five day period I'm likely to get a cloudy day and panic.  😉 (She can absorb solar energy from plants, but we LIKE our plants, LOL!)

@daikoyu  LOL, no, she doesn't do that, but she's brought some dead alien collectables back to life and has used the "scare with probe" mischief interaction.

I could.  I'm not sure I have one in that save, but the gardener's wife has completed Nerd Brain so that's not much of an issue.  😉  Hmmmm.
