There are so many simple solutions to stop this from happening yet EA just can’t be bothered to address it. Just penalise people who get a low match rating or perform badly during the game. Easiest way is to not give them any rewards or it doesn’t count for evo’s. Would soon stop people from going awk for the whole match

@CPFC007How can you penalise someone for being bad at the game , what a stupid idea , maybe the player is handicapped , maybe they're old , maybe they're young , I agree something needs to be done to stop the people who don't play , maybe a vote to kick option , were everyone agrees to boot them would work , I've seen some people who start of playing and they see one person not playing and they stop aswell because what's the point
- CPFC00710 months agoSeasoned Adventurer@onepunchko If someone passes the ball a few times to a team mate they will get a match rating above 7. If they go afk they generally get a rating between 5.5 -6.5. If someone plays the whole game not going afk then they would get a high enough rating not to be penalised no matter their ability. EA needs to incentivise people to play the game but to contribute. When they added assists no one would shoot, when they add goals no one passes. When they add wins it just takes too many games. Voting to kick is stupid because people would just kick the bad players that you are trying to protect. The match rating is the only fair way to penalise someone
- onepunchko10 months agoSeasoned Ace@CPFC007 Absolute rubbish , match rating is measure of how they played not how much they played , your theory is nonsensical and I'm not trying to "protect" anybody I'm simply pointing out your idea is flawed and makes absolutely no sense, you dont get a rating above 7 at all by passing a few times and what happens if the bloke/lass runs around all game making runs and the teammates just never pass them the ball and the team gets hammered, what then???, so they've just waisted their time and get penalised????, what a quite ridiculously idea
- CPFC00710 months agoSeasoned Adventurer@onepunchko Do you understand people can have different views to yourself and when they do, you don’t need to be so rude about it. Your idea to vote people out wouldn’t work and is open to abuse. It would be nice if it could be this is the EAFC community who would literally go out of their way to stop others getting a reward if they could. If you needed 3 votes to kick a player out the match then how would that work if 2 players are afk. If it needed only w1 votes then you might get people voting against someone just because they didn’t pass them the ball or keep losing possession or simply because they think that person doesn’t deserve a reward. The match rating one is not perfect by any means but at least gives an indicator of a players contribution. EA could adjust this easily so players rating drop quicker if they don’t hold the sprint button, or change direction or something else that indicates they have gone afk. That way even if someone is not great at the game and isn’t contributing but is trying too they would still get a match rating high enough to stop them missing out. Rush clearly has issues that EA should address to allow everyone to enjoy themselves.

@CPFC007so it's alright for you too say voting to kick is stupid but if somebody says your idea is stupid it's rude???? Weird spin you've created their fella isn't it????. ....well I think your idea is utterly ludicrous, probably the stupidest idea I've ever heard, how does not Holding the sprint button mean you are afk , maybe they're just not a RT trigger sweat , as for turning direction , well you could just set the controller to spin round and round couldn't you and get a high rating and do absolutely nothing , a vote to boot is a perfectly sensible solution and us used in plenty of other games , unlike boot them or penalise them for being bad at the game that you suggest which is just plain bonkers
- CPFC00710 months agoSeasoned Adventurer@onepunchko i think it’s clear we both want them same thing here. Any suggestion is going to have issues and drawbacks. Voting won’t work as people will abuse it. The match rating needs a lot of adjustment but given the right parameters might work. If someone is awk they are either having a button constantly pressed or have the movement stick locked in a position. If someone is playing the game correctly they will sprint at some point (not all the time) and will be changing direction as the ball moves around the pitch, as well as pressing the tackle or jockey button if the balls comes near them You could quite easily penalise a players rating if they are not doing any of this or if they are constantly out of position, it must be pretty obvious that they are not playing the game if the controller movement is 1 direction constantly. If a player is moving around in circles, constantly running off the pitch (or receiving the ball then running straight off the pitch) then it’s quite clear they aren’t playing the game. This could easily be programmed to drop the match rating by 1 point a minute so after 3 minutes of inactivity they would receive a rating that even the worse player who is attempting to play the game would not be able to get no matter how many times they give the ball away or pass to the opposition etc. That way you don’t punish the terrible players but only those who go awk.
- onepunchko10 months agoSeasoned Ace@CPFC007 as if EA could programme any of that stuff you suggest , lol , as for "playing the game correctly", correctly according to who exactly , you???? The most sensible thing is vote to boot and that's the end of it , your idea won't work and even if it did EA couldn't programme it to work we all know that
