Try right-clicking on the disc Icon in Computer and then choose open.

Find a file called setup.exe and double click on that.

If that doesn't work, you could download it through Origin instead (without having to pay again) if that is an option. Simply redeem your code on Origin, download the client here: http://origin.com/download and find the game in myGames to download.

was this a sealed disc ? Have you been able to redeem the code that came with it ?

I'm on pc and when i insert disk 1 or 2, nothing pops up. i haven't used sims in awhile there for i cannot find the usermanual with the code. any help?

Open Origin an login. Then you will find the game in Game Library ready to install / Play.
