Missing text from CAS and live mode buttons and options

Hi,

When I'm in CAS the new options for sims that came with the update show up, however there is no text at all so I don't know what option is what. Also when playing in live mode there is no text for some options in interactions for sims and when I bring up the menu and details for the clubs my sim has joined. All the basic info like what sims are in the club and the name are there but the buttons don't tell me what they are or what they do. I am stuck having to guess what does what. My sim wanted to buy rewards for the club and other activities but I had to just click on random buttons until I found the right one.

This makes things very difficult and I have tried going on origin and clicking repair game and update game but both do nothing to fix this.

I have no CC and starting a new game still has the same issues.

Please help?
