Yesterday i played for a bit.
I uninstalled origin, did a repair on the game and went offline on the origin app.
Worked fine.
Tried the same thing a few minutes ago and it loaded up, went to a black screen then white and back to black then booted me back to the desktop.

Try doing a factory reset as described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
I did a factory reset. That didn't work .
Then I reinstalled the game.
That still didn't work.
I did recently buy and installed get famous.
Not sure if that would be causing the problem or not.
Cause I could play fine in December -January.
Until I updated the Sims 4 and origin.
