Re: Dual Monitor Problem With Sims 4 After Upgrading to Windows 10

HI @soft_locs

really not good with this kind of issues but do you play the game in windowed or full screen mode ? I thought a dual setup was only possible if SIms is et to windowed mods so maybe double check if that's still the case ?

Tagging @roberta591 and @fons_garmo to see if they have other ideas on this.

@soft_locs Dual monitors can be difficult to setup and the biggest issue in your case is the video drivers. If the hardware worked with Win 8.1 and not Win 10 then my first suspect would be drivers. This depends on how are monitors are connected and resolutions settings. There is so much that needs to be looked at:

    - the capabilities of the video chip

    - how the monitors are connected

    - resolutions used

Rare but I have seen it is that programmers call a bug a feature - in other words what worked in Win 8 may not work in Win 10 because the bug got fixed. The majority of people do not set up their systems like you. You need the source code of the drivers which you probably will never see. I first suggestion is try to contact the graphics chip manufacturer and issue a bug report for their reference drivers.
