Re: Alien Skin colours missing from CAS

@EmmaB86 Trying that now. Took out 50% of my CC and the proper alien skintones are back.

  • @crinrict After testing for 2 hours straight, conclusion: The following CC caused base game skintones to not properly display:
    LunarEclipse-NudeSkinsets[…]AlienEP01_DefaultOverrides.package
    (and)
    LunarEclipse-ymTattoo[…]CASTexturePack_ALIENSET.package

Additionally, Melanin Pack 1 & 2 CC are defaulting for aliens not just humans, but the options don’t disappear from CAS with “Melanin Pack”

I don’t have any cas mods to do with skin/eyes, etc, and yet I’m still missing half the misc skin tones for aliens.  My alien has purple skin and so does her eldest daughter, but the skin doesn’t show up in cas for me to change the youngest to that skin tone.  Anyone got a suggestion as to why?

Also, in addition to that, all the new babies show up as very dark brown skins in the relationship box and family portraits, no matter what their parentage.  The only cas parts I have - I’d forgotten this above - are some coloured hairs to allow my sim children and toddlers to have coloured hair (ie. blue, pink).

  • I'm having the same issue and also have these mods. I'm going to take them out and hopefully that will fix my issue!

  • So I noticed your file was named LunarEclipse-NudeSkinsets[…]AlienEP01_DefaultOverrides. Anything that says DefaultOverride or similar will overwrite the games default version of said content. Most creators will give you a default and non-default option. If you chose the non-default it won't override anything just add to it.
