Game won't start :(
Today I tried downloading the sims4 on a new laptop, easy, I've done it multiple times over the years, but only on Mac, I figured it wouldn't be any different. So I installed the EA app, then the sims and all my packs, then went to launch it. The usual loading screen started and after the sims logo appeared the screen went white almost instantly, I thought I'd let it load to see if anything happened, (maybe like 10 or 12 minutes) but the screen was just blank. I couldn't close the app or do anything, so I restarted the computer and tried re-launching it a few more times.
One of two things happened. Either the screen immediately went blank, like before, or it flashed black with loading screen, before going blank again. On one of those re-launches, the game made it to the starting page, but it wouldn't open anything. Like the music in the background sounded fine, and every time I tried to click 'play', setting button, or something like that, the clicking sound effect was heard, but nothing on the screen changed or moved.
I've tried a few solutions on I found on the forums, but none helped. I'm stuck and Idk what to do, cause I know it's nothing to do with capacity of the laptop, it runs bigger games time Fortnite, GTA, and Marvel Rivals.
