So after the latest june 2020 update my save that I always play with wont load. My very very old saves work but not my save that I have been using the most. It lets me click on the household but than kicks out an has an error code with 102..... I uninstalled,repaired, and did everything I could possibly do to fix it.I even took out all of my mods and nothing. It also comes up with a last exception file that says root that I attatched. The game loads perfectly fine all the way to the map. Once I try to load/enter any household/lot, I receive an error saying "The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:50c5d2b:53903d75 It is recommended that you relaunch the game." This happens both with and without mods/cc.I'm able to start a new game and load it into lots without any problem.Not entirely sure what to do, but I'd hate to have to start all over.

@nicoleflower888 I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section. When you say the very latest update, do you mean the one from today? If you haven't run it, please do now. If updating doesn't help, or you already did update, please post the full error code, not just the 102 but the part after it.

@puzzlezaddict Yes I did the update today and still nothing. The error code is 102:50c5d2b:8e8288d2

@nicoleflower888 This error is usually mods related, although you've removed yours. The more thorough reset is to use a clean folder. Move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and check out live and Build/Buy mods to make sure the game is working. If it is, please copy your existing save into the clean folder. (Saves are located in the saves folder, unsurprisingly.) Copy and paste instead of dragging and dropping so you can experiment on the new copy and still have a backup if you need it. Leave your mods out though. Try to load the save, and let me know whether you see the same error.

Move your mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name.
.Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
Then go to the Family Management panel and find your household
Click on transfer Sims between households
Create a new household and move your family (click on sell all lot furnishings)
Move them back into their house.
Check if it is working now

Hi,
I am now getting a new error code when trying to play with any of my households. it says 'Error code: 102:50c5d:94829240"
My game has been like this since June 3rd and the June 4 patch did not help it, I had a different error code earlier but now it has changed to this one. I have removed all CC and mods.

I have a different error code. I also have no mods or cc when loading the household. The save file did have cc and mods before I took them out to load test if that helps.

The suggestion worked. However now the save file doesn't have any mods or cc so bascially not the save file I want. Is this the way it has to stay?

@TheSims3Nerd07 No, you need to find out which mod is triggering the issue and remove/update just that.
