Re: Get to work teleporter not working?

Hi;

Do you happen to be using mods or anything? This sounds like an issue i had where a Sim who was in the Detective Career wasn't able to go to work because it assumed he already was at work.

Have you tried having another Sim join one of the Get to Work jobs? The last time I ran into this, it was Sim-specific; I was forced to kick my Sim out of the career and rejoin, which fixed the issue at that point.

    Yes, I’ve tried opening a new game and trying all of the careers, also shutting down the game and repairing it on origin, etc. I only use custom content in the game, no script mods or big gameplay changing ones.

    Move the mods folder to the desktop.
    Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder
    Fix the game in Origin.
    Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without CC.
    Check if there are new updated versions of the CC you are using.
    Then copy from desktop your CC and paste it in the new mods folder but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

    @kreatora Ok, I have already repaired the game, (and all of the packs) before, so I guess I will have to try the mods folder idea. It might take me a couple of hours though, haha
