Not allowed to select options

Hey! I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem involving The Sims 4. On my game and in CAS I can’t make selections for example I can’t change the relationship of sims in the household. It won’t pull up the other options it’s only the default setting for roommates. It also happens when in the game when trying to move house it only lets me keep the furniture and when I press on it to get the other options nothing happens it just stays on keep furniture etc. I have repaired the game in origin and removed the mods folder however nothing works and I still keep having this issue even after updating the game.

    Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
