@zelneciaaaa Right, so your computer is still using almost all the memory it has just when running the game. RAM use will fluctuate a bit while you're playing, not a huge amount but enough to cause temporary lag if you're right on the border of what your system can handle already. Still, there are steps you can take that may help, for example playing while your computer is offline (sign into Origin and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi before pressing Play) and not having any background apps running, as you're doing now.
Reshade will add to the resources your computer needs to use to run Sims 4, so it's best not to add it back.
What would probably help the most is adding more RAM to your computer, if you're willing to do so or know someone who can do it for you. Crucial lists your laptop has having a free slot where you could add up to 16 GB:

Even another 4 GB would likely make a significant difference, although an 8 GB module is usually only marginally more expensive. And to be clear, you don't need to buy from Crucial; I'm just using their site to confirm that your laptop is upgradable.
