@crinrict I play on a Pc and have the gtx 1080 graphics card. I dont know the if its my graphics card because the actual game doesnt lag its just when i move the camera it gets all chunky and doesn't move like butter. All my game settings are of medium. Ive tried changing them to all and low and ultra.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post Here u Go
@zade21910 Does this happen in fullscreen, "windowed fullscreen" (i.e. Borderless), and windowed modes? Please test all of them, with restarts in between, even if you wouldn't want to play like this long-term, and let me know. Please also test with no other apps running at all, and with the EA App's in-game overlay and notifications disabled.
By the way, your computer has a GTX 1050 ti, not a 1080.
@puzzlezaddict Hello, I've tried doing everything u said and it didn't do anything. Would you like a video of what is happening. (Respond with some advice and if u would like a video please)
@zade21910 If you'd like to post a video, go ahead, but I think I know what you mean already.
Please let me know whether you see the same problems when right-clicking to move the camera, when using the arrows on the keyboard, and when edge scrolling, whichever methods you haven't already tried.
@puzzlezaddict Hello i’ve using the keyboard and all the other methods its mostly just using the right clicking method which im used to. But it still happens sometimes on the other methods. Btw sorry i cant get a video its not allowing me.

@zade21910 I don't really need a video, but if you still want to share one, you can upload it to YouTube and link it here. If you set it to Unlisted, I'll be able to see it but it won't be searchable on the platform.
At any rate, if you have the Eco Lifestyle pack installed, please disable it as described here:
https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2017/03/disable-single-packs/
Eco Lifestyle is EP09. Then start a new save and see whether you still have the same issue.
@puzzlezaddict Sorry if im being a pain but it still doesnt seem to work. Now that i realise it changing my game into full screen did help a little. If you have any more advice you could tell me that would be wonderful. But i have a feeling it might be my graphics card because my graphics card isnt to good cause ive had it since 2021. I am getting a new computer for christmas this year which might help its got the rtx 3070 8G and 16 GB of ram. Anyway feel free to give me some more advice.

@zade21910 I'm sorry, I don't really know what else to tell you. Capping fps or enabling vertical sync might help, but that's not guaranteed. V-sync is a setting in the game options as well as in the Nvidia Control Panel, and it only applies in fullscreen mode. You can also set a Max Frame Rate in the Control Panel. If you don't want to limit fps globally, use Program Settings (under Manage 3D Settings) and choose ts4_x64.exe to apply the settings only to Sims 4. Enabling triple buffering can also help sometimes.
It's fine to play with these settings, for example testing with triple buffering on and off and trying both On and Adaptive for the vertical sync setting. If you don't like the results, there's no harm done; just change the setting back.
