@Millamoo17 You can try playing in fullscreen mode with the in-game resolution set to match your laptop's screen: 2256x1504. You can also try "windowed fullscreen" (i.e. Borderless) instead of standard fullscreen.
If that doesn't help, you can try setting your DPI scaling to 96 (100%) rather than 144 (150%) as it currently stands, but that will make everything on-screen look smaller. It shouldn't be necessary to do this; it's just that Sims 4 doesn't always respond well to the combination of an unusual screen resolution and an altered DPI scaling. It's a limitation of many older games. Here's how to change DPI, and you can always change it back if you don't like the result.
