Re: Downloaded Save File Not Showing up in Game

@qtmoosie  Please post a screenshot of the contents of the saves folder, as in, I want to see the files themselves.  And please also highlight the saves that you downloaded.  You can do so by holding crtl as you click on each one in turn.

@qtmoosie  Yes, that's what I was looking for, and you've renamed the saves correctly.  The only thing that jumps out to me is that both files' numbers end in 00, which should be fine, but since they have that in common, I'd try changing the numbers to something else.

If that doesn't help, please move the saves folder to the desktop, start the game to create a new folder, download a fresh copy of each save, and see whether they work.  (And be sure to remove all the .zip files; you did leave one in the saves folder this time around.  It shouldn't matter either, but the game can be finicky.)  You can always put back your existing saves folder later; the point is to see whether these load with nothing else in the new folder.

Sadly, this did not work either. I'm not too sure as to why? Everyone else didn't have trouble downloading the saves, so i know they do work. there's just something wrong on my end.

@qtmoosie  Try using a different browser to download them, and test again in a new saves folder.

If that doesn't help, please make sure Sims 4 is reading the same user folder as the one where you've been adding your saves.  It looks in your screenshot like you have the correct folder, but sometimes the game uses the folder in OneDrive instead.  Here's how to check:

Please also make sure that you own all the required packs for these saves and that they're all loading in-game.

okay so after spending like an hour fighting with onedrive, it is still saving to onedrive. I quite literally uninstalled it and it is STILL saving to onedrive. i tried unlinking it first but it wouldn't let me do that so i just uninstalled. but like i said, it is somehow still saving to onedrive. i want to cry.

okay so i might have messed up really badly because i was getting extremely frustrated. i kinda sorta changed everything to be default in the registry and now all my documents are gone. the steps i was following did not mention backing up anything so i thought it would be okay. but tldr i now have nothing in any folder on file explorer :.(

@qtmoosie  Sign into onedrive.com and download your mising files.  OneDrive should still have a copy in cloud storage.
