Re: Apex Legends Stuck on the loading screen

ISSUE:
I'm stuck at an infinite loading screen. (On PC)

TROUBLESHOOTS:
-Updated Router Firmware

-Restarted Network

-Restarted PC

-Disabled Antivirus/Firewall

-Lifted Apex Security Settings in Computer (Folder Directory)

-VPN On/Off

-Disabled Razor Synapse

-Cleared origin Cache

-Re-installed Apex

-Re-installed Origin

-Re-installed C++ Re-dist (all that were applicable)

-Re-named Origin Account, Renamed it back.

-Changed Origin Region

-Potentially more but I don't remember.

None of the above troubleshoots have worked.

RESOLUTION #1:
I am able to play on a newly created second account that has never been linked with steam/
I am unable to play on my main account that I linked steam with on day one. Even though it was working fine before.

RESOLUTION #2:
If you are able to access the old link you used when you linked steam (I can't) then you can fix your issue by following this video here

Chatting with Tech Support now. I will post if anything good comes from it.

The problem with that Youtube video is that he says to find the URL of the link steam account page (which I have) but when I open it, this is all that shows. So I can't really do anything with that "Solution"

Unfortunately EA tech support can't do anything. They said that the Apex team is aware and are working on it.

Not being sarcastic, @MarkLegendz was chatting with EA support for a while, so my response is to him updating on what he found out.
On another note, thanks for the link I'm going to try that out!

So guys I found a solution it is a little complicated but listen so what i did to get it to work is i found my steam login link in my history like many other people but this is were you have to do something unique from now you have to click on the link account then when you are on the page where you have to put in your credentials go to origin sign out log back in without remember me or any of the boxes checked then launch apex then go to the link that you had up re-enter you already linked steam account and then boom it should work if this doesn't work first try. you should try re-opening the link and just keep signing in with your already linked account. Idk if the origin logging out has to do with anything but this is how i fixed it so I hope I helped some people out. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE LINK IM SORRY. hopefully the dev team gets on this as soon as possible

I understand what you are saying but i dont think this works with people who have the convars: { stryder_security: "" } error on their link history

I can get up the page which asks me for my credintials in steam but when i click sign in the page says convars: { stryder_security: "" } instead of the ususal page

Players shouldnt have to fix anything, to be able to join and play a free game.

This is one prime example of why EA as publisher, is going to the sh*tter.

Their stocks have taken a huge dump, they have poor customer service, and about the same technical support.

This is a on going problem, that the dev are ignoring.  Lessening their player base everyday, by not fixing the issue.

EA has gotten enough $ from over there years from me, for publishing full version betas, and patching the hell out of it, once released.

BF1 and V were complete crap.

Honestly EA really went the doghouse when it switched to origin, trying to be a wanna be STEAM.

Uninstalled game both on PC and console.. 

Lost this player, and probably a lot more.

This isnt to do with EA its to do with respawn and how the steam API communicates with their backend service , what im pissed at is all these days its been going they could of just added a link for us to UN link our accounts from outside the game and this issue would of been fixed long ago.
