400 dpi can be a problem. At sensitivity I play on (1.5@800 in Apex, haven't tested 400 dpi), I get pixel skipping in all games I tried (OW, pubg). Although, 2 pixels is still enough precision for anything outside very long range shooting, I find 800 dpi to be optimal (I also find 400 dpi to be a bit too low for windows, which is often the same for in-menus (and in pubg's case, in inventory tab) mouse senstivity; that is, if inbetween steps are not available (not on my mouse).

  • I use to play with 400 DPI but due to skipping I've stopped.

    I'm currently using 1800 DPI (prob. too much and not needed but oh well..) with 1000 hz polling rate. I use a Corsair mouse pad -> 14.1732" by 11.811".

    I set my in game sens so when I move my mouse from the left to the middle I can do a 180 degree turn, and by moving all the way to the right edge a 360 turn. My ADS is 1/2 my hip fire sens.

    Mouse -> 1.0
    ADS -> 0.5

    No matter what FPS I play I follow the same rules. I want a 180 at middle and full 360 turn on a full sweep.

    thanks for answers, hit-reg andf latency are not affected by DPI then 🙂
