Phenom II has SSE3 support, but not SSSE3
I have a phenom ii x6 1100t and the same problem
Will the developers fix it, or can I delete the game?Just delete the game thats what i did if they dont want us AMD Phenom users im not going to support the game at all
Yeah pulling another EA, they won't act until it's too late and the issue gets notoriety and bad press, I can play resident evil 2,r6s, destiny 2, but not a game who is based on the counter strike engine, lol
Cool. I'll stop my download now knowing that. Should have known with Ea......
Jesus Christ, people, you are using a CPU that is more than a decade old, and even at the time Intel processors had SSSE3, while AMD didn't, and you expect every game to work?
And then in your ignorance you go beating your chest and chanting "EA BAD!", even though it had nothing to do with EA, since Respawn is the developer that implemented SSSE3.
The game is using a heavily modified and modernized version of the Source Engine, there is no trace of "Counter-Strike" in it, nor do I see why this should be relevant.
Games like NMS and RE7 have also come out with requirement for SSSE3, but got patched down the line to work on Phenom CPUs. I suggest you be patient and wait and realize that you are using a decade+ old CPUs.

Very helpfull advice right there! 10/10! Here is a suggestion - next time don't write anything at all instead of this condescending whatnot. People come here for advices how to run this game or tell the developers, that something is broken. And not to read messagess like these.
- Worth noting that Destiny 2 used to require SSSE3, they too had to patch in a workaround. Wait for a while and I'm sure this will be resolved.
This is most likely a case of the developers simply not thinking of testing compatibility with a processor that's over 10 years old. having the same problem over here with AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
hopefully it'll get fixed soon😠
Also having this problem with AMD Phenom II X4 925. Never run into this on any newer games before, very bummed about it. It may be old, but it has never been a bottleneck for performance in gaming or otherwise and has been perfect for all uses. I have no intention of upgrading it in the near future, so I'll just delete the game if that's my only option here. Hope the devs can make a workaround.
Well.... that answered my question. I have the same CPU. Bummer eh!!!
Dear EA,
I know my CPU is old (Phenom X4 955 Black Edition), but it runs every current generation game just fine, including your competitors Fortnite and Rainbow Six Seige at 80+ fps with all settings maxed out (because I have a decent graphics card).
Instead of getting a cannot launch, it would have been nice to just get a warning that a CPU without SSSE3 might experience problems. Let me decide if it's worth the problems...
Hopefully, you patch this quickly before you lose to many other gamers.
Deleted Apex, Deleted Origin.
If you decide to listen and actually patch this game, please let me know.
Sincerely,
The Old Wook
Dear EA,
I understand you've now deleted my prior post because you don't want anyone saying you need to fix a problem...
So here it is again...
I know my CPU is old, Phenom 955 Black Edition... But it runs other competitor games (R6 Siege & Fortnite) just fine.
I've deleted the game and deleted the Origin store. Hopefully you patch the game before you lose too many other gamers.
Hopefully, you also stop deleting posts just because they say you need to fix something. That's just bad business.
I'm not going to say nice things when you won't even let me try to launch the game to see if it's playable.

Edit: Thank you for restoring my original post
It really should not matter if the CPU is 10 years old or not. I run my Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition and crossfired HD7850's with ALL of my games at MAX or pretty close. I don't have a reason to upgrade just yet. In my opinion this hardware has a couple of more years before I decide to upgrade.
Spending $250+ to upgrade a CPU to play 1 game is out right dumb.
I only just received this error after upgrading my graphics driver to Adrenalin 19.2.2. I was at least able to run the game up till loading of the match on 19.1.1 where I would receive the Bad_Module_Info error.
I have a GTX 1050 Ti and it says this error code, and this is a really good graphics card. What's the deal with that?
its a error for processor, not the graphic card
We should give up, knowing EA they will never listen to customers they just dont care only thing they care about is money.

exactly like mine. I have a GTX1070 video card, and I can not play the game! even playing all the newest and heavier games
Yep, same issue with AMD Phenom II X6 1090T.
sucks.
- Same thing with a AMD anthlon II x2 270

Dear EA
Pls patch soon. We need this.
They won't.
I tried to keep myself away from EA games as much as possible, but i was like meh, why not, times change and maybe this isnt trying to be a cashgrab, so let's download Origin and give it a try. GUESS WHAT, they want us to buy a 200+ eu or usd processor to play ONE GAME, since all games are just running fine, but this one...
They also patched it, now it has an error message, so we know that we wont be able to play the game. Maybe the idea behind this is ppl who dont upgrade thier processors FOR NO REASON AT ALL won't use any microtransactions or idk, i got really disappointed.I really wanted to play this game, hopefully it'll be like destiny 2 because i can run that no problem.... SSSE3 issue
- The processor in question does have SSSE3, so giving EA/Respawn * for the game not letting us play the game for that one reason is actual criticism. You are correct in that there is pretty much no trace of the old engine left within this game.
But yes. You can expect the game to run this game on a decade old processor because it shuts us out for not having a feature that it does have. - i'm using AMD Phenom II X6 1075 and has the same problem.. other games run on this just fine but not Apex legends
lol should have known EA supports have nothing good
