Hey, so after being on hold with EA for an hour they magically fixed it, no ineligible error finally! Go to help.ea.com. The customer support tech named Chris figured it out. its something on their side that needs fixed, so if you're patient they'll fix it eventually...

There is no direct number for users to contact EA on so you have to request a call back.
go to:
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
And select game> platform > Select topic > Select Issue > Select contact option "Call back"
Ive been having the same issue for the past 2 days with account ineligible please got to ea.com/unable-to-connect
I tried putting a ticket for some help and I don't even get a option for a call back it only shows the forum for help.

I wish i could get help. They keep closing my case after like 4 days of submitted. But idk why. I’ve had my account since 2014. I’ve used the up address, the prof of my purchases including time and date and the amount. And they just keep closing my case with no help. I had to make a whole new account JUST to play apex. So i lost my level 130+ all the characters all my battle passes i bough plus apex coins. It just sucks nobody helps it’s like they look at it and close it and be like deal with it. Not fair!

I am currently having the same issue with Battlefront II... I tried to confirm my Playstation PSN account was linked and it isn't. I then tried to link it thru my web browser as the EA forum suggested and still got an ineligible message -_-
