Looks like Apex Legend is the winner here!

This means little when gameplay issues are server/netcode optimization issues on Respawns end.

My DSL internet connection is quite bad actually (>100ms ping), so I don't know if most problems come from my side.
However, I've noticed that I always disconnect (code:leaf, wheel...) when starting a game, not when I'm already playing (maybe it happened some time, but not relevant for sure).
Do you experience the same?
You with the high ping are the problem when i have a ping of 20 and you are lagging around the game ruining my experience.

My ping is 100-105ms usually, never higher than that. If it's higher I prefer not to play.
Do these values really affect so badly other players??
- @Fr3dY2
Yes, but they are just mad because we kill them before they even see us turn the corner. I personally use the scout because my lag is enough to shoot 2-3 bullets before they register I'm there. - @Fr3dY2 How do you even play with a ping that high? My games becomes unplayable if it goes up to even 30. Too choppy and laggy.

@SixthOTD, @FaZaaa_82 , @kittypokit
Something must be "wrong" then... if somebody else is using my Internet connection at the same time (watching video streaming or downloading anything), I just don't play because it's unplayable: the whole game LAGS TERRIBLY (all menus, from lobby to countdown animations and game itself: there's a delay between pressing 'E' to pick up an object and actually picking it up, players "teleport" and so on...) and ping can be detected as 150-300ms.
So, I don't / can't play under those circumstances, not only because I can't - but to avoid ruining other players' experience too.
But then, on my idle DSL line (the game says 75-100ms ping, but I think it's more the later) I can play fluidly, I see things how they were supposed and other team members never complained. According to other players, this shouldn't be possible but somehow it is... HOW?? 😞
EDIT --> Opened new thread about this, please reply at https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Playing-fluidly-with-a-75-100ms-ping-just-an-illusion/td-p/8143753/
@SixthOTD30? serious man, you should be with no lag around 60-70 latency/ping but after that you might see some depending on how much higher ,might be a lot. With new Driver, I have way better fps and gameplay.
@EA_Barry wrote:Thanks for posting, interested to hear what kind of impact this driver set has on Apex.
i turned off vsync in nvidia 3d settings and the game video settings, set rivatuner to 144 fps, and used 720p resolution for my desktop and game borderless window.
i got 144 fps a lot in the game. its pretty much always 144 fps now.
my pc rig; ryzen 5 3600x using overclocking in the bios, 16 GB ram ddr 4 3000 cl 15, ssd for windows and game, gtx 1060 6GB.
its really nice. Thanks Nvidia and Apex Legends team! i will go back to using 60fps since thats my monitor resolution and it helps in oculus rift to have a lower fps when playing apex legends in virtual desktop.
- @gg123xyz no need to even O/C that rig in the bios for this game. I would bet it runs better if you didn't. Just my 2 cents worth.
for overclocking my 3600x i did this;
-enabled precision boost overdrive
- set a-xmp to profile 1
thats it. a-xmp sets my memory to its actual speed, and precion boost overdrive allows the cpu to ramp up its speed.
i did some tests and found it does increase my fps in apex legends.
heres the video showing what i did, at 1:40 mark or so;
