- Gabrielmojo266 years agoSeasoned Ace@iBlockHead I should have posted the link, my bad, and again, it's nothing ground breaking, but definitely a step in the right direction imo.
https://www.dexerto.com/apex-legends/apex-legends-pro-breaks-nda-respawn-plans-1296022 - @Gabrielmojo26 So... wait... they gonna listen to some pro’s instead of all the comments online from the actual 99.99% of the community and said pro’s?
Lolz
wingman: buff
Cosmetics: stays same
G7: stays same
Skullpiercer: back
R-99: same
Mark my words xD.
Seriously the only 3 things they have to do doesn’t even need them to sit down with anyone:
1) improve server connections and add more. With this; tickrate higher from server side which’ll lead to less ghost bullets/less super bullets, better consistency, less issue of server side ‘shooter takes priority’ and more
2) slowly roll out King’s Canyon with patch notes stating there may still be some bugs attached to it and that ppl should be wary
3) weapon changes are tricky... you need a large player pool to test this cause just your own dev poop testing weapons don’t seem to work or else they wouldn’t have added the Charge Rigle... and nerf it so soon after... - Gabrielmojo266 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Koochi-QSitting down for feedback with actual players is a step in the right direction, as opposed to Respawn’s democracy of “what we say is what goes”.
Lots of pro players are anti-SBMM fyi, and to be honest i associate with a lot more of what “pro-players” have to say, than anything Respawn has spewed from the get go.
Edit; Do you think pro players are asking for 30+ gun charms? Lulz - @Gabrielmojo26 "actual players"
Are we not actual players?...
It's good they listen though and have meetings with pros, but if they just read their own forums and Reddit than they could save some time and get right to working on a solution rather than go into a meeting to hear the same things from a few less people.
These forums are filled with issues and what the community wants to play.
But I guess as long as those few pros bring up our issues and wants than I guess it's a step towards something good. - Gabrielmojo266 years agoSeasoned Ace
@iBlockHeadBy “actual players” i meant anyone but the Devs lol.
So many influencer who’s
channels are based off solely playing Apex were baffled as to the PK buffs, Jankz comes to mind. It is no different with these pro-players.
I definitely see this as a positive in what is one helluva crap shoot when it comes to Apex lately.
@iBlockHead lets just hope if they ever did read the various forums this one got skipped.
Every weapon in game would be nerfed,Grenades would do 5 damage and there would be no abandonment penalty.
🤓
@Gabrielmojo26"Pro players" Initiated nerfs that have bearing on the non pro circuit community. Which makes up a good percentage of the crowd.
Just because they have insanely good accuracy and reflexes doesn't mean everyone does. Also that in lieu of legend abilities.
Maybe for partial recognition they would have some good points. But so does the average gamer.
Every game is not a high stakes tournament match setting. And shouldn't be based around it.

@ColdHoursWho says this meeting was based around high stakes tournament match settings?
This forum can be very hard to keep up with sometimes, it’s either an XP circle “jerc”, or who’s got the biggest ego, what’s with the “i know more than you do mentality here” lolol.
This meeting seems like good news to me, maybe i just won’t share anything going forward, cause after all “this is nothing new”.
So many “bruh moments” on this forum it’s mind blowing! @Gabrielmojo26Well who says it isn't? If the meetings are centered around pros it's certain that the calls reflect the gameplay at which they're at. Which are demanding in the eyes of normal players.
Yes. There are a lot of "bruh" moments on these threads. But that can be dispelled with every day logic. The input one introduces does not need to be quelled. If that's the case why bother at all? Of course there's going to be friction upon said criteria. It's natural. But to regulate the data that is true will be apparent when it is presented.
There are tons of good pointers and solutions within this forum. All of which do not need outside views to garner any unforeseen details.
- @Gabrielmojo26 It’s a step in the right direction, yes, but it’s not good to listen ‘solely on the niche’. Thats why I said why not listen to only pro’s but also the majority community.
The last reason for gun testing was a case of me bringing up that they should allow the community to test changes before rolling them out instead of themselves just testing it, aka having the dictatorship of rollouts.
Pro players maybe aren’t but some ppl watch for skins and the like when watching pro players. If they see a cool skin they be like monkey see, monkey want. The whole meeting livestream idea sounds great tbh. They would be able to monitor player feedback to any proposed ideas in real time also.
