- @RevenanT-G7 I think it’s a play on words, as in, you can solo queue with the « no fill » option.
- @Gabrielmojo26 The guy who leaked the footage earlier who did playtest yesterday at the event said you could single or duo play.
Guess we’ll see tomorrow If Warzone is anything like Blackout, than RIP COD BR again, that thing was boring and a mess trying to deal with inventory management and swapping out guns only to have to pick up all your attachments again.
I'll take a crack at it when it drops on XBOX (a year later??) or play it on my Brothers ps4 if he says its fun.
Still don't have high hopes, the other mode of it looks fun. Kind of like a duck hunt thing.
- @iBlockHead Whats been announced, when someone dies, their loot drops fortnite style and it ‘just attaches’ to your gun as the leaker claimed. So it’s more neat than Blackout.
There’s no waiting period. All content will drop on all platforms simultaneously, so you can start playing tomorrow with your brother cause it has crossplay.
I’m not one for military setting either. Thats why Apex was so appealing. But I’ve just *big sigh* out of it. So lets see this one.
I also hope they do Blackout character unlock challenges again! To unlock a certain character you must complete set goals. That was fun! That’s how you flaunt how good you are. Here it’s badges that you can cheat at. With those character unlocks only way to cheat is if you have multiple teams under your command as well who’ll let 1 person win for instance. Nothing says truly good player as ‘kill an enemy from 200m away and get into the top 3 position’. In Apex this feat is quite easy... in Blackout... it was like you were going for the Triple Triple difficult XD.
But even this CoD is a stepping stone till Spellbreak releases on Xbox! - @Koochi-Q If that's true than all is solved and I will have another game to play outside of Apex/Division 2.
It's literally the only reason I hated Blackout. The looting system was garbonzobeans and I would rather run around with a bowie knife that takes 2 strikes than sit in one spot trying to grab my attachments and rearrange my loot.
I'll see though if it's truly better than before.
Also, Spellbreak?? Is that a joke? Are you making fun of BR games now? THIS IS WHY I HATE THE APEX COMMUNITY / ALWAYS TOXIC
No but it looks fun, as long as it has a different take on the BR scene and not just another reskin. Warzone does look big and diverse and probably has a lot going for it... except maybe the one thing that drew me to Apex in the first place: personality. I was never particularly interested in this kind of generic looking military shooter, and I doubt that -even leaving gameplay aside completely- it'll have anything to offer that'll be able to match my enthusiasm for the Apex cast and lore.
I still miiiight give this a try, if only because it's F2P and I'm curious about the experience. Never played a single Call of Duty game before (but then again I hadn't played any FPS title in well over a decade before Apex), and like with Fortnite it might be fun to take a look at another take on the BR genre. Like Fortnite, however, I don't suspect Warzone will have any chance to sway me away from Apex.
Only BR game that looks like it might have a chance to actually compete for my affections at some point is probably Spellbreak.

But sucks that its not 4 man squad, was looking forward to teaming back up with more friends.
Everything else looks amazing though and it's gonna be tough choosing what to play considering the LTM map changes tomorrow and this dropping. I wonder if Tencent is gonna throw one out soon...?🤔

- @jumanjaydazed They already do PUBG Mobile and a couple other mobile BR games afaik, wonder if they'll come to consoles or PC anytime soon though since it's so much easier to get money from mobile lol
yeah...they do. And yes, mobile is cashing in. COD mobile is pretty decent. I meant COD online here in China. COD Online came out around 2015. But no br as of yet since it's f2p with micro of course. Such a pain to play cod16 here..open new account, purchase the game through taobao(chinese ebay), have someone in Russia/States (wherever the code is from) install it in your new account....no servers here, such a hassle.

What kind of repercussions is there if you get caught doing that? Assuming it's illegal if you're having to take such a long winded route lol.
- Lolz so I just checked Apex’ twitter handle on their latest tweet (it was about last day Deja Loot in WE). Distribution of comments from what I’ve seen: 30% talking about being done with WE, bring on KC, 30% talking about hackers, SBMM, solo queue, 10% memes and 30% talking about Apex dead due to Warzone XD.
Don’t even wanna check IW’s twitter handle to see what the comments are like there xD I honestly don't think there are any. Not sure tbh. It's just not readily available to play "publicly" at net bars etc. But gaming vpn's have it available to connect to servers of choice. US ping is over 160...Same as Apex really

- @Koochi-Q I’m all for positive criticism, rants, and blowing off steam, but for the past 24 hrs, the apex sub reddit has been plagued with trolls posting with nothing but hatred and spite, wishing failure only because another BR will see light of day.
It’s weird to be honest, it’s weird that players will leash on to Apex despite all the issues they bring forward, yet to this day, they’ve been playing the game regardless. If anything, I wouldn’t be playing if I was miserable with said game.
Now that Warzone is coming out, they flock to reddit with pitchforks and torches, shouting die die die!
I knew the game had toxic players, but circumstances like these really bring out the bad in people. - @Gabrielmojo26 That bad huh? I could’ve imagined it. It’s not the Apex community. It’s disgruntled gamers. They got tired of their ‘voices not being hurt & respected’. They voice their complaints properly follow by slightly emotional preceeded by very emotional which leads up to toxic ‘shouting 2 be heard’.
Now that a new contender is present, they can be spiteful and voice their disdain with likeminded individuals thinking that they have a voice now.
It’s like (extreme situation so if someone doesn’t want to read, skip this entire paragraph) when someone is addicted to something but only has 1 supplier. That supplier of whatever you crave (cookies, milk, video games etc) gives out rubbish instead of the pure stuff but you’re powerless to do anything cause the supplier won’t listen. You just have to keep using it. But as soon as a new supplier comes along, even if you haven’t had your fix from him/her/it you already start talking smack to/about the old one. Same logic applies with this current situation.
So dont hold it against them. I believe a lot will be back again. BUT this is also a good thing. Respawn will see (they already knew it when the BR was leaked) their numbers go down and see the extra ‘hate’ and will try to make up for it. Thats what I truly believe.
We’ve seen it alot on these forums ourselves. People creating threads just to wish the failure, not even caring anymore about venting or proposing something to benefit the game... for days or weeks and when you say “just play another game” their answer is either one of pure ‘target located: fanboy here. Roast him/her’ or a continuation of the rant with no logic XD - @Gabrielmojo26 Well, that's passion: love + hate.
I doubt I will play it. Saw a video of all the weird stuff that can happen and was not impressed.
If warzone has a low TTK I think apex will suffer a slight loss but nothing major. You'll probably see apex bring out a mode that has level 2 shield the highest you can get or something like that.

- @NACHONOV0 Weren't you around for the shotgun and sniper mode they did? As the name implies only those two weapon types were available and also only white shields spawned with very little meds and shields, could squad wipe with a PK in about three seconds lol

It's not really the game itself. It's just people in general who are toxic and wish failure upon other because they have nothing better to do than jump on the bandwagon.
