I will be playing solo or with a buddy and then I get a message that says Party Not Ready even though we are both readied up. “Player” will appear above where my game tag should be. I restart game, playstation, and router , and nothing works. Please help or fix

    Hey there,

This is something we've been seeing reports of for quite some time. Just out of curiosity, how long are you usually in the lobby before you try readying up again?

It depends. When the game finds a match, my friends go into the game but I'm still in the lobby. After a while, Apex takes me to the game too, but I start in the drop ship. Well, most likely its ranging between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Its not a really big problem but its quite annoying at the same time.

By the way before I open this discussion, I saw that issue is most commonly happening on PS4 but I'm on PC, Origin.

    Got it, thanks!

Is this always happening when you're playing with the same friends, or is it just any time you're grouped up regardless?

Its happening any time I group up regardless. It occurs with anyone in my lobby, or their lobbies, doesn't matter. I group up with different friends. At that time, I tried with 10 or more friends but still the same.

    Got it, thanks.

Can we try setting a different DNS in Windows to see if that makes any difference at all? In some cases using a different DNS has helped with issues like this. You can update the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website

I usually go with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8, Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that would be OK as well. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot.

    Thanks again,

    /Kent

Actually like a week ago, I changed my DNS settings from auto to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. That didn't help at all. Still the same issue.
