- @MandatoryIDtag If being a casual player means having fun that is what works for me.
@hayhor Honestly for me personally it has been a lot more fun.
It's cut a lot of the frustration I had regarding apex out, which I felt manifested itself pretty clearly even when I was posting on here lol. The game was fundamentally designed to be a casual experience....it just doesn't seem to do any good to treat as anything more unless you truly are a top tier player.
I'll never encourage people to quit playing apex, it's a damn fun game. However there are other games out there which are also fun so why just stick exclusively to one if its causing you stress right?
- @MandatoryIDtag At the end of the day it is a video game which is not life or death. Why treat it that way? I know lots have this I want to be as good as I can at everything which you can still do with apex. Unfortunately most people cannot admit that the bad things that happen to them also happen for them against enemy players. Once you accept this is going to average out you dont worry about it as much.

I won my first game, only got 4 kills. I'm not really a fan at the moment though. Feels a bit like trials in destiny and that mode from call of duty. Not really why I play apex tbh. Think I'll stick to the normal mode of apex mainly but will probably play arenas every now and again.

I really like the pace of Arenas. But there are some OP combos. A golden backpack for only 250? Lifelines are so OP. Very hard to win against a good Lifeline.
Keep in mind that the devs are only now gathering massive amounts of data on Arenas. So matchmaking is only going to improve.
That being said, I've been stomped and I have stomped teams.
I guess I have to find some good teammates. At least one that plays Lifeline hahah
