I heard about BP items coming up for resale, and there's something I don't understand. The ad copy for the battle pass specifically states that the items will never be offered again. I guess maybe the items returning are not from the premium battle pass, and that promise only applies to items paid for with the premium pass?

The Pathfinder skydive emote is definitely part of the premium pass from season 7. They got away with the anniversary event recolor but I don't mind returning skins from the battle pass. Maybe just make the lvl 100-110 rewards exclusive. They also recently changed the wording on exclusivity of the BP skins.
Will the Battle Pass rewards for a specific season ever return when that season is over?
All seasonal cosmetic rewards (excluding Apex Packs and content dropped from them) in the Battle Pass are time-limited to the Season. From time to time, some items may come back, but it is up to the discretion of the team.
