Re: Fix your servers (Amsterdam)

Hey @v-audacious,

I hear what you're saying, and just wanted to see if you'd tried any particular troubleshooting steps just to be safe.

While we can pass along that you're running into trouble like this, knowing what troubleshooting steps you've taken can help pinpoint an issue.

Are there any specific steps you've taken so far? How are you connecting to the game (wired/wireless connection, etc.)?

  • No this is 100% the servers that likes to mess with people's RP on ranked. I emptied my DNS cache, did a MTR test and found no weird things as you can see in my first post & restarted my router, restarted PC. And yes my PC is wired and nobody else is using my network.

If the servers can't handle the amount of players that are playing during holidays, just upscale the capacity of it? Why does that have too be so hard for Respawn and EA?
How come that players outside the European continent are still connecting to Amsterdam (150ms and above), doesn't that cause for instability and unfairness towards the players with stable network? These servers need a fix ASAP. The servers we're fine before the holidays but now these servers are just tilting the * out of me.

Thanks for the other information @v-audacious.

You're seeing similar issues even when switching servers manually at login then, I take it? Or is this only happening when you've selected Amsterdam?
  • This what you see top right is a complete lie, you can't convince a donkey that I'm connected to the server with 14ms. It feels like 20000ms after every action i make.

  • Mostly just Amsterdam and Belgium GCE 1, 2, 3. London seems to be less laggy for me, but I rather wanna play on servers nearby.

  • Forget what I said about London being less laggy. It happens on London too and I captured the adressess of the severs which my client r5apex.exe was connected to.

This server was unplayable for me. I was playing in slowmotion and could litterally see some people teleporting (not all players)

Yea and the funny thing is. Im in Vienna, Data Center Frankfurt and i get connected to USA Servers according to Network Monitor. It shows 40ms but feels like 150ms and i have loss.
I think we are getting fooled

I feel like posting/complaining here is just another waste of time, unless a real dev or network engineer will take a look into the EU region ESPECIALLY AMSTERDAM. No donkey would believe that they are connected to Amsterdam with 10-14ms while it feels like above 100ms+, like come on get your * together.
