@hayhorIdk. I’m losing patience trying to explain to people that having 3 preds in a lobby feels different than having 40. You know this. Even if you’re highly skilled these lobbies can feel absolutely Impossible. I gotta be honest. I would rather be a slightly under average player with one pred team in my lobby, than be a Masters level player with all other Masters and Preds. The game just plays totally different when you can’t make a single mistake. 

One team of preds/masters on mics and coordinated is more than enough to wipe out the lobby.

That's not necessarily true though. As a diamond player the first week of the split, I actually gain points when my teammates and opponents are all diamond / master / pred players than I do later in the season (in diamond) when my teammates are all platinum players. That's because higher level players know HOW to play the game and don't make many "mistakes" as you're talking about. If I'm in a pub and I get on a team with two absolutely terrible players, and there is a single master's 3-stack... I'm dead, no matter how hard I play my butt off. My two teammates are a liability.

The mistake is solo queing. It's a team game, and solo queuing puts you at an extreme disadvantage. I would rather be a master's with other master's and preds. Conceptually, it's also more rewarding to fight people who are your same skill level. Maybe you get lucky and kill a pred but that's going to happen 1 time out of 1000. You don't learn anything from that. You learn from being matched with similar skill levels... that's why every sport in the history of modern humanity groups people into skill classes, like football, baseball, road racing.... pretty much anything. You'll never play a game where an NFL player gets groups with a person who plays pick up football in the park (unless it was personally agreed upon by both ppl). This game is forcing NFL level players to play in lobbies with park players because the skill gap is too large to find games for players with a 1.25 k/d. If you have any positive K/D then it thinks you belong playing against master's players. 

@Axs5626Sxa5001I have been doing this since last few weeks of last season, just playing ranked. I've not played much this season though tbh but I'm currently silver 1 and all through from bronze, the issue i have had is that you still get put against players that have masters and diamond badges (i mean like lots of them) on their character banners. I understand that they can drop down from not playing but it does make ranked just as frustrating 🤪

Ranked or PUBS, it doesn't matter, I've been playing since Season 1, with 2600 hours in the game.

75%-90% of the game, I am Ranked with players below my stats, so 10% to 25%, I only play with some equal Skill Ranged Players.

Match Making isn't what's ruining this game either, it's the cheaters with Aimbots, Wallhacks, PSilent, modded controllers and strike packs.

Cross Play and Controllers on PC need to be removed, so we only play on the PC with PC players on keyboard and mouse!

My experience is that ranked is even worse. It's disgusting how impossible it is to play that mode, and not just because of smurfs, which you encounter basically every game, but also because of the completely mindless and careless people you end up with.

Apex is a game for skilled, non-casual players, full stop.

Thats where the smurfs live to get even easier prey, they awake mid season and 2nd split, then silver and gold is unplayable as casual. In general if you meet preds in pubs youre sweating too much in my experience. They been quicker sending you bad lobbies this season yes, and slower to lower your lobbies so there definitively has been a change.

They did change so you wont preserve your kd by quitting before youre fully killed anymore so more people dropped matchmaking lobbies this season too so matchmaking is a bit in flux atm because of one of the parameters used to make a balancing act been changed greatly, im betting several of 1+ kd players dropped to 0.6 this season hehe.

ranked is the same, preds and high level players wins while afk bots and dumb ppl plays letting you down while they push foward with no guns or low ammo guns whiel the other teams shoot from a safe distance seeing them coming from meters so being noobs sucks because the game developers cares nothing about players and only about money

Agreed, the cheating is off the scale.
