Re: Mixtape and BR share a Matchmaking Rating

@hayhor This seems to be their current "answer" to matchmaking fairness. All teams seem to have one or two TTV-level players, then on down the line to people who can barely eke out 200 damage.

It's one of the most ridiculous things I've seen, considering that the single high-rated player can literally wipe the entire lobby solo. It's common for one person to have 20+ kills and over 4k damage, while others only have 2-3.

The worst is when there are smurfs involved as well, which tends to shift the match toward one team heavily (several yesterday were 45-to-9 level of bad, even when the other team was missing a few players).

@LaughingSharko Yeah I know what you mean. I genuinely don't get anything out of killing people that have little chance. And having been on the end of 8 deaths to one player, hearing the kill quip I totally understand why some people quit.

Arenas and past LTMs 100% did not impact BR matchmaking, so I find this really odd. What I don’t know yet is how the relationship works in reverse. Will doing poorly in mixtape over a set amount of matches grant you weaker BR lobbies?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I disagree past ltms and other modes did not affect BR matchmaking. The simplest way to see it having effect was if you won a game of arenas or an ltm you would be the champion and the lobby would be harder. That's my experience anyway.

@hayhor But I used my “No kills No Damage” account to play countless other modes, Arenas including. Performing really well made the the matchmaking kick in and lobbies were high MMR in those modes. But my BR opponents remained super super low (no divetrails, and mostly level 0-10, even as I myself was like level 60 from gaining exp in the other modes).

I ONLY started seeing all Masters and Preds on this 0 Kill 0 Damage account after doing really well in Mixtape.
