I'm sort of surprised than no one really showed any interest in this topic.  I've been using Scout of Action for daily warmup since making this post.  Man, can you see a difference in your aim after 20 minutes. I'm replying to see if maybe there IS some interest.

Here are two helpful, if perhaps obvious tips:  1) count your bullets and always reload after 19 to maximize magazine efficiency.  That is very obvious.  2) perhaps less obvious is to try, whenever possible, to use the reload time to center your reticle on one of the back targets if any are blue, and to plan the next several shots.  It kind of bugs me how much depends on RNG in this activity, but there is no way around it.  If you get really bad luck it's usually better to just leave the play area and restart.

So far my high score is 74 (I'm a fairly mediocre player) and I can consistently get to there by the middle of each session.  My first round of the day is usually around 57-60.  What's your high score?  I'm aiming to get to 90 and be happy with that.  A great score for a controller player is somewhere around 110 in my opinion.  I think that's been beat, but not by much.  I'm not interested to compare my score with MnK players, who obviously have a huge advantage over controller in this particular exercise.  But I'd love to hear about your excellent score, regardless.

Tangentially, I have found that the amount of bleed-over from other people sharing your firing range has gotten insufferable.  Frag grenades, Seer abilites, Valk's rockets, Wattson gens breaking, even Bang smoke once.  You name it - if it's loud or causes screen shake, it's constantly distracting me and has ruined several good attempts.  I don't remember this amount of bleed-through in the past, it was just holo sprays, ziplines moving and the occasional explosion.  I've had to reload into firing range more than once in a session to get one that is relatively calm.

@EA_Mako I hadn't considered using hipfire in that manner. But I feel like using that time to line up a back row shot is more effective, when possible. I'll look to incorporate your idea when none of the back targets are blue.

You can't ADS when reloading, I was just referring to lining up the center dot.  The G7 has quite a bit of sway, so getting it just right to hit a shot without a tiny adjustment doesn't happen that much.  Anyway, the real point is to use that time for something, anything that adds efficiency.

I can't believe this.  I have a smurf account I started playing on when I play with my high MMR buddy so I can play in the big boy lobbies without worrying about tanking my stats.

My very first try?  69 baby!!!  It's on all my banners along with my account level, 12.

There is a very distinct audio queue the gun gives off when you hit 3 bullets left in the mag, the last bullet has the loudest click. You can just count the two smaller metal clicks and then the last one and instantly hit reload.

That’s sound factor exists on almost gun. On the boceck the sound will only tell you how good you’re snot was lol!

also when I first typed in boceck, it auto corrected to “nice job”. Im doing the best I can.

What a long thread, stemming from my failing upwards in an effort to secure a 69 for my banners!

I'm sorry that I was never able to beat my peak of 87.  When my AIM controller developed stick issues and I switched to a Scuf Reflex, I lost all of my momentum.  So far as I can tell, the Scuf performs fine for regular play, but for the particular skill involved with SOA, the AIM sticks were simply much better for me.  I really ought to send that controller in to be repaired.

I hit 125 before season end, im on mnk.

@E9ine_AC   Recently floated the idea of creating a discord channel for just this purpose.  Not necessarily for a "tournament" but for enabling some sort of custom game meetups.  I hope it comes to fruition!
