@EA_QueenBee My personal take is that a score of 90 is Really Good™ and god status around 110. We're just mere mortals lol.  Talking controller here, MnK high scores run a bit higher.

@EA_QueenBee Oh man I've stepped in it. Honestly I have no idea what's good or not with MnK, I just know the upper limits are higher. Only a very few controller players have scored near the high scores of high level MnK players.  There's no aim assist on these targets, so MnK players will be at an advantage on an exercise like this by default.

I consider myself a slightly below average player overall with somewhat better (average) gun skill.

Also, I've come up with a couple of hardcore options for this.  Last night I tried hipfire only, as well as iron sights.  Hitting the far targets with hipfire is extremely RNG, and even the next set closer is dicey.  I actually scored higher with hipfire than with iron sights.  I'd almost forgotten how truly terrible the G7 iron sights are.  I didn't try for long, but my best scores were in the 40's lol.

I tried hip firing, good golly it was not a good time. Like you said, complete RNG for the two back rows. Even the one closer than that wouldn't always work for me. I tried a hip fire only run through, and my three targets were the three furthest, so that run died horribly.

Also, I think you mentioned that you use a controller? If so, I'll swap over. I think if we're going to make this a thing, it's only fair that we use the same input method. 🙂

@EA_QueenBee   Good job!!   I think it could be a while before you hear back from me.  I'm pretty sure I've hit my peak performance on this one for quite some time lol.  I'll be trying though!

@maximas1986  How high did you end up scoring?  I have heard through the grapevine that you are crazy good at the sticks.  This is most likely inaccurate, but I think the highest score I've seen from a controller player is somewhere around 110.

i got 89 in SoA and hard try to get over 90, but you are right, it's a good warmup.

in contrary to that, i am really bad with bow and just have around 2800.

smoke show is 3090.

@Sirportalez I don't find nearly as much fun in those other two challenges, plus I can't really get a funny meme counter from them. Most of the times I've re-done smoke show have been because I was trying to reload a darned weapon next to it. If I were interested in improving with the bow, it would be very helpful.  But I obstinately don't want to use this weapon.  Smoke show just seems like they just wanted something specific to Bangalore in there.  I don't see much point to it.

@EA_QueenBee You're still winning! I have managed to tie my 77 once, but that's still my best so far.

EDIT  Just upped my high to 78.  So close but yet so far!!!

I spent way too much time trying to figure out what all of this has to do with the Black Beast of Arrrggghhh only to discover we were talking about a thing in the shooting range I forgot about...

@Kyldenar Nah it was a reference to my feelings about attempting to get a 69 for my banners and failing by getting a 70.

I can't believe it, but I get to report that I have got you beat again!  I was in a groove, but I wasn't expecting to get to 80.

I gave up on the hip fire, that was just for fun.  But since the G7 is on the ground again, I've been working at Scout of Action with iron sights.  G7 irons are HARD so I figure the time and effort actually pay off in game.  So far I can get like, in the high 60's for my best.

I am absolutely certain that this work is paying off in terms of target acquisition - or perhaps what I mean is, what is called by the aim training crowd "target switching." I don't know what aiming with a mouse feels like, but on controller I can feel a definite difference in how precise my right thumb movements feel after 5-10 minutes.

Maybe some day we will be given a tool for working on tracking in the range?? A girl can dream! (I'm male but I love that saying!)

@dSKyNafinchin If I can do it, you can, bud! That's exactly where i started when I set out to get the 69 for my banner.  Focus on getting a 70 first (or a 69 if you're a dork like me and want to flex that on a banner for a while).
