I stumbled across a possible meaning behind the name? I was looking at the Flatline skins on Apex Wiki, and I noticed below the skins, in the "Trivia" section, this little tidbit:

"The V in the weapon's model number means, if the weapon ID is to be believed, "Vinson". Whether or not this means that Vinson Dynamics had a hand in the creation or design of the weapon, or is just a reference to the developer of the same name is unknown."

Of course that wouldn't explain the K, or the 47, so I'm just gonna run with the similarity to the real gun as the meaning behind the name, Lmao. Unless someone familiar with Titanfall lore comes along and confirms, of course. I would still be curious about the K, if that were the case though. I wish I could ask the dev that named it
