why won't my apex legends account let me add cross platform even though
Why won't apex legends on my Nintendo switch let me add cross platform even though I have went to my ea account and enabled everything. 😞

Hey @simpledynamics,
Crossplay is also available on Nintendo Switch. If you have enabled cross-play you will be able to add your friends from other platforms and join a lobby with them.

If you can't enable crossplay, please let us know and if possible show us a screenshot of the error when trying to enable it.
Before you read this the friends already added on my account are playing on Nintendo Switch which I do not have a problem adding users on switch as well. When other users on Xbox, Playstation, Pc send me friend requests.( Or vise versa when I send them one.) It says Friend request sent, as displayed in one of the images disclosed. However the friend request does not get displayed on my "FRIENDS" page in the menu.The first image shows the pop up I get when adding other users. I have Display friend requests enabled as well.
- @simpledynamics Oh and also the "Warning one or more of the settings on your EA account may be limiting other players ability to send you friend requests" is showing on the "Friend" menu

I see you have enabled the correct permissions in your EA Account and the friends aren't showing up when adding them through Apex Legends.
You could perhaps try adding them on your EA Account that's linked to your Nintendo Switch account.
To do that, you will need to log in on EA App using a PC/Laptop/Mac and add your friends through EA App. The friends on your EA App list should automatically show up in the game, so perhaps that's a way to fix this. - @EA_cuervo Thank you I will try this
- @EA_cuervo quick question if my Ea username is different than my Nintendo nickname, is it normal for my nickname to show up in game instead. I wonder if maybe my Ea account and my switch account got really screwed up by Ea and that's why these features don't work.

Your EA Account username does not have to be the same as your Nintendo Switch username. However, it is important that both accounts are correctly linked. To check your linked account, please see: Linking your platform accounts to your EA Account
