Full lobby’s aswell like half the lobby is pc players and then say we got aim assist thy got tapstrafe thy don’t know Stickdrift thy loot and move at same time and now thy in console lobby’s 😂

Yup, it's always good fun.

At least remove abandon penalty so we can just leave these lobbies.

I just assumed rEAspawn would have removed the icons on the far right by now. Figured that would be the easiest way for them to address the situation. Just hide the ability for us to know who is playing on what platform.

It comes and goes.  About a week or two ago, I had a match with only three console players in it.  I personally believe that some sort of SBMM or the like has been worked into Mixtape, and fortunately I was able to do OK in that match.  But on average, there have been far fewer "mixed" lobbies for me in the last week or so at least.  I play Mixtape at least a little daily, and I haven't personally had a PC player in one of my lobbies for several days now.

I suspect the MM prioritizes non-mixed lobbies but is willing to go full cross play when player counts or some other similar factor will cause long waits.  I notice some shenanigans lately when queueing for Mixtape, I'll often get "connecting to match" several times before getting bounced back into the queue.  Occasionally it can take up to a couple of minutes for me to find a match, at regular playing hours (afternoon, evening) on US west servers.

To the best of my knowledge, there has not been any statement made by Respawn regarding this, so we are left only to speculate what the deal is.

@pandareno1999Lucky. Have them way too often. Also had a Bangalore yesterday with whom I argued, suddenly my game froze and crashed.

Wait, got a game... Gun Run, with 7 PC's, including both my teammates, nice. So I'll just continue here.

I load it back up, get back into the lobby, and 3-4 seconds later, freezes again, crashes... starting up again, respawn in, and... 3-4 seconds later, same happens again. Anyway, you can guess what happened the next time too. Okay, so the time after that and I restarted the game I just didn't spawn back in and looked at the overview map for the remainder of the game. Never had that happened before. Really sus. Just casually happens when I have this PC Bangalore teammate, who btw also threatened me, but that's beside the point.

Anyway, same on EU. Sometimes I have to wait for 4-5 minutes for a game. I know nobody really wants to play Gun Run, but come on...

Lots of people like Gun Run. I find it really fun. I'm only disappointed with it when I'm working on a specific BP challenge that I may or may not be able to work on due to the nature of the mode.  Depending on how the match goes, one may or may not even get to use a shotgun or an SMG, for example.  On then other hand, it can be great for AR damage if I'm having trouble confirming my kills!

you can tapstrafe on console too with custom controller tho.
that's why everyone on pc play controller now , way easier.

Untrue regarding console.  Consoles do not have the capability to accept WASD digital movement input, only analogue.  Third party devices that enable cheating on console can do a fair number of things, but this is not one of them, unless the game itself allows for keyboard input (which Apex does not).  Even KBM via XIM gives analogue movement input on colsole.

That said, there are a couple of very difficult to use, not illegal, techniques.on console controller that can provide a very pale shadow of a tap strafe.
