I would like to add my perspective to this.

My games also appear to suffer the same DDOS attacks as the OP.

Barry, what is causing this? Is it actually DDOS or are the servers, the game or something else causing the lag and disconnections? Do you have any more information to share?

It seems like a serious issue, even though a quick forum search didn't show many other recent reports, due to the violent nature of DDOS attacks and the fact someone is willing to lash out by doing do this sort of thing over trivial issues.

Is this on EA's radar anywhere? Or is sabotage and cheating so normalised in Apex that it no longer warrants special attention from the higher ups?

I'm also commonly seeing collusion between players, which is perverse, and what seems to be stalking and harassment from communities within Apex. These are really serious problems and must be addressed urgently. Or so you might think.

What level of sophistication have the cheats reached that they can do so much harm with impunity? Or is it perhaps indifference from EA that allows them to get away with it?

@EA_Barry Please explain how do you report a DDOS attack?
Just called it a day after Apex crashed to desktop mid fight. Code:Snake with the minus RP.
There is no report option.

Apex leaker / data miner just posted the above, meaning some "bug" is resulting in randomized bans.
How the destroyer2009 hacker was handled (it wasnt) its not too blatant to theorize on the idea of complete server side control by the hackers.
Not out of this world that some hacker has control of bans either.
