All accounts made after that date will be eligible for cross progression, it just means that any progress made on those accounts before the merge will not be merged.

So if I make a Steam account and link it after October 26th, any progress I make (e.g. Packs, skins, e.t.c.) won't be merged with other accounts.

The Steam account will have access to the data from the other platforms, though those other platforms will not have access to the data made on the Steam account in that time period.

    How will it determine what account on the ea account will be carried over to a different platform, for example if I have an apex account on apex and have a lot of cosmetics on it and I then link a PlayStation account after the 26th, will my apex account from the Xbox be on that PlayStation account?

    The account with highest level will be made into your "main" account.

    So if on PS you were level 203 and on Xbox 328, the xbox level and stats will be prioritised.

    Cosmetics merge no matter what so don't stress too much about that!

    Yep they should!

    From what i understood it's just gonna be one main big account you can use on all platforms.
    I'm on a same boat, waiting for my "invite"!

    Yup, they're doing it in "waves" so depending on how smooth it goes it might take some time as I havent seen a single person get an Invite.
    Some people rumour that the actual release of the crossprogression is on November 2nd but i don't know for sure.

    By "phases" you mean are they rolling all invites together?
    I doubt it, like I mention in my other comment it might go fast or slow depening on issues.
    Also we don't know how large those waves are. They might be as big as the CS2 Beta waves (which was like 1.3% got beta accsess on first wave)

    So that means if I have an Xbox account linked to my ea account and just created a new steam account that is lvl one now I will be able to get my Xbox account on Pc?

    OK so people are now getting cross progression starting today but my original Apex legends account was with Apex and that’s what I have all of my progress on and I created a PlayStation account after the 26th. It has nothing on it. It’s only level two, but they are both under the same EA ID will my Xbox account be the main account, and will my Xbox account still carryover to the PlayStation account in which I have created after the 26th whenever I get my prompt to use cross progression? I am so confused. I really hope my Apex stuff on my Xbox account carries over to my PlayStation account.

    @Narc15515t I have a similar case,
    I was plying on PC, and today I started playing on Xbox, when I opened the game they asked me to sign in, so I signed in with same EA account that I used to play with on PC, then I found out that I've started from the beginning "lvl 1",
    So I really hope that we still can be able to get our cosmetics from the other platform even if we had created our Apex Legends after October 26th,
    If not, it will be a farce, because it means they only made the cross progression only for the old players and the new players have no rights to benefit cross progression , and that doesn't make any sense.

    So I am eligible for cross progression even tho I created my Xbox account after october 26th so my Playstation account and my Xbox account will merge

    If you created it just now, why would you want to merge it?

    Besides I think simply all the progress you make on that Xbox account won't be included in merging.

    But other than that, there shouldn't be any problems with it

    I really hope so even if my PlayStation account ceases to exist I still want my Xbox account on my ps.

    @rallen1518 I just am hoping my level 758 Playstation account will merge with my level 10 Xbox account so I can play on my level 758 account on my xbox

    So I just downloaded apex on my ps5 cause I got rid of my Xbox. I’ve been waiting on cross progression, but didn’t know about the date of the 26th. So I basically don’t need to panic I just won’t keep whatever I get currently on PS before the merge?

    I just don’t want to not have my account merge altogether since I only have the one and want all of my stuff to pull over.

    From what I understand you will. I'm not sure what will happen if you add the account after the 26th i think it will just make you lose the progress on the PS account and you will keep the progress on the main account.

    @XHelperZ I was researching and it says I'm not eligible for cross progression because my second account was made after october 26th I'm trying to switch from my 7650 kills on pathfinder with pathfinder heirloom playstion account to xbox

    Heya @patchyboy20 

    Accounts linked/made after the 26th will still be included in cross progression, though any account made on that account between Oct 26th to the merge will not be merged.

    So if you linked/made your Xbox after the 26th, you'll still get your data from Playstation on Xbox. 

    It just means that you won't be able to get any progress from Xbox to Playstation until your account has been merged.
