Unable to play H2H, shows controller on opponents side

• Which platform are you on?
• Are you getting an error message?
• Does this only happen in one game mode?

I am in the process of getting my video to you. I am having same problem 

Uninstall and reinstall the game entirely. Just got it to fix itself for me 

I tried that once. I guess I’ll try it again. It’s so dang infuriating

only happens in play now and online dynasty user vs. user games. 

I played one road the the playoffs with a random user and it worked fine. 

in my online dynasty I can play all computer games but when I have to play another user I cannot play due to when we search for opponents my controller icon shows on their side of the screen. When I press ready up it’s on their side and we can’t get past this screen. I’ll get a screen shot today. 

there is no error that pops up. 

Do you happen to have any info on this fix? Thank you.

If possible could we get a screenshot or clip (YT link works as well) of when this happens and we can pass it on to the team?

Also, if you haven't already give the following a try:

1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
2. Perform a power cycle.
3. Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
5. Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
6. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
