The All-American selections are busted. I had a CB lead the nation in interceptions, cause 3 fumbles and score 4 tds and didn’t even make second team. In fact, my team filled the defensive player awards lists but didn’t have a single All-Anerican on defense. Make it make sense, EA.
A similar thing happened to me. I had a starting DT lead the nation in sacks and it earned him second place for the Heisman and he won Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Defensive Lineman of the Year. Yet, it wasn't enough to get him on the First or Second Team All American.
My starting HB led the nation in yards and TDs and did manage to win Running Back of the Year and did make First Team All American, but was never in the Heisman race and was never in the top 10 for Player of the Year. Then he went undrafted.
Similar story with my defensive end. Apparently 21 sacks isn’t good enough to be an all-American
I won the Heisman with a DE and had over 40 sacks. Obviously best defensive lineman trophy as well and didn't even make 2nd team AA. The randomness and nonsensical BS make this one of the glitchiest games I've ever played. And I played Diablo 4 for over 900 hours in the last year. Lol
If you actually take a closer look, I think it’s based off of overall ratings which is a very lazy and poor take from EA
