Today, Tues Oct 24, 2024, EA came out with a patch to fix custom scheduling in online dynasty. Well, as per, it’s STILL broken. Made a schedule and came back, the games were rearranged. Fixed it again and got the infamous custom schedule error. It’s a damn shame that this has been an issue since launch and yet 20yrs ago we never had issues with custom schedules.
Glad I'm not the only one (not that I want others to have issues, lol). But saw people saying yesterday that scheduling has been fixed. I started TWO NEW Dynastys, and neither of them were fixed. On my schedules, all of my Home Games are from Weeks 4 - 9, and all of my Road Games are from Week 10 onward.
It's absolutely not fixed...at least mine.
If anyone has a workaround or something, that'd be great. I DO appreciate EA still putting updates out occasionally though, as opposed to them just giving up. I've certainly had my fair share of critiques, lol
P.S. - Also on TeamBuilder, my teams disappeared! Another issue, gggrrrrrr!!!
Yeah, I got an email this morning saying, "Resolved an issue preventing custom schedules from working properly." I immediately thought, "Yeah, we'll see." NCAA 14 wasn't perfect but custom scheduling was nowhere near the mess that CFB 25 is. 11 years later and it got worse!
Also with Custom Scheduling it still gives certain teams 1 game less then the proper amount of Conference Games
Yeah I thought it was me I played off line and online schedule still a big problem
I don't edit my schedules BUT the logic behind conference scheduling is still not working either.
I did some custom conferences, either 12 or 14 teams per conference (8 independents), no divisions, 8 games per conference. In the first season, every team in the Mountain West only played 7 conference games, and two Pac 12 teams played 7 while the rest played 8. If you simulate many seasons there will always be a couple teams per year that play the wrong number of conference games. Additionally, the further into the dynasty you go, the more weird home/away splits you get. Oklahoma State had a year where they only played 2 of 8 conference games at home, etc.
I tried with various combinations of conference games, divisions on/off and nothing seemed to work
This still an issue. Losing my yearly rivalry game and constantly getting the same 2 teams or scheduled at the end of my season every year.

Preseason week in our dynasty and time to do custom schedules, I transfered ownership to my co commish so I could grab a new squad and when we did, the custom schedule button disappeared, the week did not advance or anything.
Apparently, there is a glitch in the game with custom schedules. You cannot transfer ownership of a dynasty in the off season or that features disappears. It saved the custom conferences, but the custom scheduling is gone. Anybody else experience this?
