Re: Activation limit for a serial number has been exceeded & EA Customer Support Representative failed to respond.

Thanks for the link to the tool, I have run that tool several times prior to actually requesting support, but every time I run it and it completes, it provides me with a completely blank web page in all of the browsers that I have tried; IE7, Firefox, Chrome.

It doesn't display anything that I could use. The URL string the software spits out, complains about not being able to connect to a resource on a server over a SSL connection.

This is the result that I get in my address bar:

Seems it doesn't like to post that URL link fully whether I put it inside a code box or a spoler tag

Is there any other advice anyone could share, other than phoning the support number? I don't really have the money to be held in a ~40 minute queue on a premium rate 0870 number just to speak to a representative.

I apologize for the negative experience you have had with our customer service. Did you happen to get the name of the person who became unresponsive? Contacting an EA Game Advisor is the way to have your activation limit reset so I do recommend you try to contact another advisor via live chat.

i known my words will fall in greedy corporate ears but this kind of DRM does not help the fight against piracy at all, you make it harder for the gamer that buy the original game!!! than for the useless pirate.
