Re: Sprint not sprinting?

I see people saying it only works in multi player, but not in single player.

However I found that if I use a mount I can "sprint" with that, so why not on foot as well?

To clarify, yep, you can sprint/gallop on a mount in SP, and sprint as normal in MP, but NOT as part of regular on-foot gameplay. That button is ping/search.

Your followers will kind-of sprint to catch up with you in SP, but they'll also do impossible things like teleporting out of boxes and up cliffs. And don't even get me started on the ninja horses.

    Thank you for the clarification.

No sprint on foot in SP.

I guess the followers zipping ahead in combat to fight beasties 100 yards ahead of the group is just one of those "impossible things" and not part of the sprint mechanic. I will stop tryng to find a way to keep up with them, and will just fight.  🙂

Now if we can only get the tactical cam to be useable on PC......

(Really these are such minor issues in such a gi-normous game.  Thanks for all the hard work and details put into this.)

  • being able to sprint on a mount is all fine and well, but what about searching, looting, and combat on horseback?

also all of my companions move faster than me in SP, why can't I f'n run?

why do I have to jog everywhere...

and don't get me started on the bugged riding on mounts....

you could be trotting through a wide open field, and the horse just stops dead, and your forced dismounted....... wth?

I think that is why the mounts are an option...
