Re: Stuck on Champions of the Just Quest

I actually beat this section on Hard this morning before coming to work. It's certainly a tricky section. especially after the fairly gruelling "rescue the Officers" bit. If I remember correctly, you'll get a new cache very soon.

I'm not sure of your composition, but I was running 2 tanks. I found that holding one at each stairs and aoe tanking while my ranged did the damage was effective. Note that while there are a lot of enemies, they are pretty squishy, so another strat would be to abuse LoS and lay down an aoe smackdown on any enemies that you can gather into a group. I'm not sure if there are any side doors, or just the pillars.

Perhaps placing ranged on the platforms to rain death while your tanks keep ranged off them would also work?

And I always save at the start of a new story mission, especially on higher difficulties. I messed up the earlier courtyard scene and nearly got myself into an almost-unwinnable situation too, but fortunately I pulled through.

    Hey Thanks,

The issue is that I don't really have a save to go back to, was doing a marathon session and my last save basically puts me back at the beginning the game after the tutorial section.  Obviously, I'll avoid this in the future, but I'd like to continue without having to basically start over.  My autosaves only put me back a few checkpoints prior to this section, and I'm still out of potions at that point.

The issue is that I have no potions, and all my characters are at the minimum health level after resurrection.  I've tried a few different ways to grief the event, but no matter what I can't get past the waves of templars that spawn while the barrier is knocked down.  Tried running/hiding to let the timer die out, I've tried letting 3 of my characters die and using Revive on them, but I'm never able to get the spell off in time, and I even tried grinding 1-2 mobs at a time to level up my party (which should restore health?), but I'm not even close to the next level so I'd literally have to kill hundreds of them before I'd reach the next level.

I hadn't had any issue playing on Hard until this section, its sort of crazy that the level is designed in a way that a "game over" scenario could occur.
