It doesn’t make any sense to force us to migrate when every Mac user - even with up-to-date specs, are having issues even playing the game. They should at least let us return to Origin while EA figures their sh*t out 😔 @ea I found a solution to the problem, if you go to the sims game in the EA and repair it, it will work. I just did it and Sims opened and is working finally. Hope this helps.
That worked! Thanks so much!
Have you been able to fix it? I’m having the same problem!
@ShakLpri15 Repair the game, as mentioned in the accepted solution.

Hi!
It has been a week since The Sims 4 crashes, and I have searched all the Internet and EA/ The Sims forums and Q&A and everything around.. But still, I haven't found anything that solves my problem (on macOS).
I have installed the game on a hard disk, and it never was a problem (neither I think it is now, but I think it's worth specifying).
When I launch The Sims 4 it appears a white page, then it crashes giving me the following error:
"
Unable to start:
Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications and that the latest video drivers are installed.

I tried everything: repairing the game, uninstalling and re-installing it, moving it on the desktop and letting the game create a new folder in the EA folder in Documents, deleting the Options.ini file... I also tried removing every mod and cc I had, and yet nothing works! ☹️
I'm linking down below some images with some info about my pc. Thank you in advance for any advice you're willing to give me! <3
