Thank you Ea Shepard for help.Actully I am not a expert on computers and I donnot why this error code is showing and since I havenot tried ea app when it was in closed beta and open beta I donot how this new ea app works.I have downloaded ea app first time when it left open beta officialy but it was loading very slowly so unistalled it and start using origin app again because origin was still usable that time when I downloaded ea app.So I will wait for official fix for this error code.
This topic should be actually clear. As I already mentioned the EA Apps behavior in Offline Mode is not correct. I attached a screenshot. As you can see the EA App is “identifies” the Offline mode as “an error” telling (I translated this from German):“Unable to connect to the servers
We will continue to try to reconnect you. In the meantime, you can restart the app or play a game that doesn't have any int...”
This behavior is actually almost a violation of EU data protection rights.When a customer tells EA: do not collect my data (no permission!) then EA must not continue doing so.
When EA does not fix this, I might consider an official note to EU Parliament.

Ea Shepard I am still having the ea app error code 10501 issue I just wanted to ask did ea app team find out why this error is coming and did they have found a fix.I am uploading screenshot of ea app error code again with this post.My os version is Windows 10 home single language 64 bit version 22H2 os build is 19045.3448 and my ea app version is 13.23.0.5536 .Please fix this bug.

Ea Shepard still waiting for a response from ea.I have tried everything to fix ea app error code 10501 but none of them worked to fix this issue I am running ea app as admin, I have put ea app and its other services as exclusion in my kaspersky internet security antivirus,I checked windows firewall but it is not blocking it ,I have checked my operating system and ethernet connection but all are working fine and I have performed a clean reinstalltion of ea app but none of them this issue.I am not a computer expert so I cannot think of more workarounds, so I wanted to ask did you get any updates from ea app team regarding this issue.My ea app version is 13.27.0.5540 and error code 10501 is still showing up.Please fix this issue officialy because workarounds are not working for me.

@sanjayaloria I took a look and i am afraid there has not been. If you have other accounts linked i.e. Steam/Console/Epic/Facebook etc., can you please try any of those and let me know if they work or if you get the same error?
I am having the same problem with EC: 10501.
I paid alot to play my game and now I can not play offline.

Ea Shepard thanks for response and I want to tell you that my ea account is not connected to any pc gaming account and I dont have ea games on any of gaming apps like ea app I have only games in ea app but I have some other gaming apps similar to ea app are installed on my pc so I checked two of them one of them crashed in offline mode but it is different error than I am facing with ea app.as for my operating system and ethernet connection are working properly.I recieved upgrade to ea app option in origin app on 1st march 2023 but after shuttting down my pc and turning on pc same day few hours later and opening the ea app my installed games disappered so I asked ea help advisor so advisor advised me to reinstall ea app and run ea app as admin so I uninstalled ea app and next day I reinstalled origin and waited to upgrade to ea app option to reapear and it repeared and I updated to ea app and installer version was 12.123.0.5380 and I started running ea app as admin it worked fine both in online mode and offline mode and then few updates of ea app received in same month and last one maybe broke ea app s offline mode and ea app started to crash in offline mode and I know the version of ea app installer which origin downloaded on 2nd march 2023 because I copied the installer to my external hard disk and that installer still backed up in my external hard disk so I checked the installer version.Since ea app began to crash in offline mode I tried run ea app as admin ,clearing the cache ,I have put ea app as exclusions in my antivirus,I check my pc s windows firewall is not blocking the ea app but firewall is also not blocking it,I checked the other gaming apps may be conflicting with ea app but they are not I tried deleting older ea app and origin files even from local app data and programmdata and I also cleared origin ,origin games, ea app and ea games from my windows registry using windows registery editor and I deleted my old ea app installer both from my downloads and microssoft edge s download history and then I download ea app installer directly from ea app website but his doesnt even worked and I did the same process many times but none of them worked for error code 10501 and in other other window it says temparary lost connection and some even shows my ea account is blocked even today it showed ea account banned message.I checked ea help advisors when this ea account is banned message appered in past I asked ea help advisors but advisor confirmed many times that nether my ea account is hacked or banned and they suggested to post his issue on ea official forums so finaly posted this issue on ea answers hq forums.Please fix this this issue.Thanks for help.sorry I wasnot trying to post same reply three times but this is my first reply which I posted on tuesday but after submiting it disappered from my post and I tried again few minutes later I posted same reply and succesfully submited it but after few hours it also disappered from my post so I posted same reply yesterday but yesterday both replies appered again so I deleted other two posts so please donot ban my ea answers hq forum account.please fix ea app error code 10501.Thank you for help.

Ea Shepard I am still getting ea app error code 10501.ea app version is 13.37.0.5550 and ea app is still crashing in offline mode with ea app error code 10501.Please fix this issue.

@sanjayaloria Hey, I took a look at this and a request was put into the games team for an update on this error. As of now, there is not one yet provided to us. Also, keep in mind that CMs are not the ones who resolve these errors. We are not developers. We are Community Managers, so we are not able to simply just fix issues past basic troubleshooting steps that have helped others or may help with these errors.

Ea Shepard I have an update about ea app error code 10501 it still occuers so I asked ea help advisor whether my operating system or any driver is having problem so I uploaded my pc s msinfo and dxdiag to ea help live chat and advisor told me my operating system is fine and device has no errors and suggested me to run ea app in safe mode with networking so I tried a few minutes ago but ea app wont even open and shows ea background service is not running so I opened windows services menu and tried to start ea background from there but windows shows me an error which says ea background service cannot be run in safe mode with networking.I tried everything to fix this error code 10501 so can you please check whetether this issue has been fixed by ea app team or not and I can understand that you are a community manager not a developer as you told me in last reply.Thanks please fix this bug ea .ea app version currently installed on my pc is 13.55.0.5568 . i forgot to mention that it error was occuring and i had to relogin but i was talking previous version of ea app after recieveing 13.55.0.5568 update it still crashes with same error but i don't need to relogin and current version of ea app installed on my pc is 13.58.0.5571 thanks for fixing relogin issue please fix the crashing issue as well with error code 10501.

Ea Shepard I have an update about ea app error code 10501 issue now I donnot have to login again in ea app after opening the ea app again after crashing with error code 10501 but error message still apears I have done some optional update of some device drivers but error message still apearing so I am uploading error message screenshot and latest dxdiag again.Current version of ea app installed on my pc is 13.69.0.5582 and my windows 10 home single laguage os buid version is 19045.3693.please fix this error message showing up issue and thanks for fixing ea app relogin issue.

@sanjayaloria Are you hardwired or wireless? I got this error the other day when launching a game through the Xbox app and it tried to open the EA app and gave me that error. When I went into task manage, I closed everything down, performed an ipconfig /renew, and tried again and got it to work.
Its something to do with the network I know that but it could be a lot of things when you are on a PC. Every setup is different. Try the steps Here! - sanjayaloria2 years agoRising Scout
Ea Shepard I have a hardwired optical fiber ethernet connection and my router gives me up to 100 mbps speed and I am using same connection and router since I had origin app installed and even when I upgraded to ea app on 1st March 2023 ea app worked fine in offline mode but in same month ea app recieved an update and after I installed the update successfully ea app works fine in online mode and when I put ea app in offline mode it stays in system tray for 4 hours and after that it crashes with ea app error code 10501 and I had to relogin but after I updated my ea app with a patch I donot need to login again but it still crashes with same message and error code 10501 in oflline mode. I forgot to mention that I dont use other apps like xbox app for windows to lauch ea games they all are in my ea app library.Thank you I will still try troubleshooting steps you have suggested.

@sanjayaloria So the speed (connection) and network (your ISP) are not the same. How fast your internet is only determines how fast info is sent back and forth. The rate at which you download and upload content. Has no bearing on the stability or security of the network you are on.
There were a lot of updates that happened that caused these types of errors. Unfortunately, as they are all different errors, they all relate to the same bottom-line issues with either the network the player is on, or a security update that changed permissions, or settings for Windows, the router, the modem, and so on.
This error specifically has quite a few posts online and a lot have nothing to do with a game someone is playing. The more I search that error code it comes down to a permission issue on that PC. Something changed with an update.There are steps like these that can and have helped resolve these errors.
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4)
- Change TCP/IP Settings
- Set up a Static IP
- Check date/time is correct in Windows
- Try Safe Mode with Networking
- Try a new Windows User Account
- Reset Windows Host File
- Change UAC Controls within Windows (change back once tested)

Ea Shepard I forgot to tell you one thing in my previous reply that my internet service provider had given my router and they set it up when I had origin app installed and origin worked fine and speed of 100 mbps is postpaid plan s maxium speed and my connection and router are fine because my internet service provider checked the router when I recieved this error code 10501 in ea app and my internet connection is reliable and secure.I tried safe mode with networking few days ago but ea background service refused to launch in safe mode with networking and I checked my lan settings nothing is checked with proxy server in lan settings and I also checked both my windows firewall and kaspersky total security nothing is block ea app and its services.I also checked the permissions in windows firewall all looks same and I had put ea app and its services as exclusions in my antivirus software and I am running ea app as administator.I also asked many times ea help live chat advisors to check my account they all said everything is fine with my ea account.My pc s date and time are correct and my operating system and user account are fine.This ea app error code 10501 message is only showing up in offline mode never showed in online mode and one rececent patch fixed the relogin issue but error code 10501 and other temperarily lost connection still shows up so please fix this message is showing in ea app offline mode also with a patch just like ea team fixed the relogin issue.I am editing replying because I forgot to mention no other application is limiting or blocking ea app and this error only showing up in offline mode on my pc.please fix this issue.

@sanjayaloria I understand that but again, your connection or speed of your internet isn't the issue. The issue is that when the EA app updated, it changed either security permissions and Windows permission or triggered a program such as your firewall or antivirus to change its permission.
The connection speed of "100 mbps" as you mentioned is not a factor in what the error is caused by so that is not a part of the issue. The steps provided above are the steps that would help resolve this as this error has been reported multiple times with other games and other programs that people have on their computers. Programs like Kaspersky can absolutely block the program without you seeing it the logs. This is why we say turn it off and test or add exceptions to it.
This error has no bottom line meaning which means it could be one of a thousand things causing it. It is a generic error so we cant say it isn't this or it isn't that because there isn't a specific reason each time it happens. Its always a different reason causing the error.

Ea Shepard thanks for reply and I know what you are saying but cleanboot can damage my os or pc as writen in ea help article and my internet service provider told me to not to change dns or my internet connection will break and I already set ea app and its services as exclusion already.so anything else you can suggest me to fix this error.Thank you.

@sanjayaloria And that is defintely not something we want you to do if you are not comfortable doing it. Im still digging around and asking about this so that we can get a more defined message around it but even with Microsoft they say permissions issue. That is what makes it tougher too.

Ea Shepard thanks for updating I have an update regarding ea app permissions I checked yesterday and noticed that since I have upgraded from kaspersky intenet security to kaspersky total security ea app permisson are not showing in windows defender firewall and windows defender firewall says these settings now managed by my antivirus so I opened windows defender firewall advandced settings in advanced setting there are inbound rules it is showing ea app and its services as allowed programmes and some other ea app sevices are also showing as allowed which were not set as exclusions in kaspersky total security so I yesterday I added these ea app services as exlusions too and I also added ea app and its other services as trusted prorammes as well in kaspersky total security and I also checked the box in trusted application setting which says donot put restricstions in their processess.I think if it is ea app s permisson problems so they should be resolved now.I will check whether this works or not and I will update the post.Thank you again for updating regarding this offline mode issue.I am editing this reply because I checked ea app and after putting ea app in offline mode it stayed in system tray for 4 hours and still crashed with error code 10501.I forgot to mention this error shows up in offline whether I am playing a game or not after staying in offline for 4 hours ea app crashes and sometimes it shows that my ea account banned error with this error code.only thing which is improved after I installed one of recent ea app update I donot have to relogin but ea app still crashes in offline mode with error code 10501 so please fix this error.

@sanjayaloria Im asking about it. This specific error is not one we here can simply fix because there is something on the players side on their PC that is triggering that error. I will let you know hen I find more info on this one though.
