how to join a player in EA APP

how to join someone in ea app? in Origin we had a 'join game' in friends list and we could also invite. But all this lacks in EA APP? is this possible? please add this feature or make Origin accessible again. i would prefer origin over this. i cannot join anyone or invite in ea app!
