Anthem will not launch

I've got the same for Sims 4. Think it's the EA app. I was able to play yesterday... I don't know how to fix it

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch Anthem
What happens when the bug occurs? A window pops up saying "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later" and my only options are 'Get the game' (which I own and as the EA app says I have 31 hours in) or 'Close'. Either options closes the window and puts me back at the installed games screen.
What do you expect to see? The game launching.

I've tried launching Anthem 3 times a week over the last 3 weeks and I've gotten this error every single time.

Same problem. Origin forces the update to EA app, then deletes itself. Anthem does not work with EA app.

Oh, I can update alright.

Yesterday morning, I spent an hour chatting with Tech support about this problem. They had me do many things to my PC and none of it worked. I even went so far as to wipe my C drive and reinstall Windows and that still did not fix the problem.

The problem is on their end, just like the error says. It has always been on their end and it will always be on their end until they fix it.

All I can add is that my copy of Anthem was a box copy and I registered the code through Origin. Later I upgraded to the Legion of Dawn edition and that's what the EA app says I own.

I have the same issue. 

I tried 'raising a technical support case' with EA. No answer for weeks now.

At one point though, despite EA not replyng or reaching out to help solved the issue for several days, they sent me an email advising they had decided to close my technical support request unless I manually logged in and selected 'resume case'. I mean, are they just hoping people won't do this or read their emails in order to for them to clear a backlog of technical support cases - particularly for issues like this one where they don't seem to have a solution for getting Anthem to run.

Very frustrating!

EA Rep (6/20/2023, 9:34:37 AM): Thank you for sharing the complete information, In this case I would like to provide you some information that our players are unable to play anthem because as this game is now the sunset game means The game doesn't support the EA app at all because developers stopped the support so playing Anthem on EA app is impossible.

The Origin app workaround is no longer working...
