DisplayName field missing from registry

The Sims 4 has had an update, and now I keep getting the popup 'DisplayName field missing from registry.' When I log in, I get the following ERROR: 'We have detected that your computer is currently offline.' My computer is not offline. I've tried many things I found on these forums, but nothing helps. Has anyone been able to solve this issue?
