Achievement Unlock Pop-Up Notice Didn't Appear After Unlocking

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unlock an achievement for a game found in the EA Desktop.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no pop-up to show that I've unlocked the achievement.
What do you expect to see? Similar to Origin, I expected to see a pop-up in one of the corners that I've unlocked an achievement.
My specific example is for BF2042 to unlock the "Escape Artist" achievement. There are 34 total achievements for BF2042. I was at 33/34 total achievements and had 24/25 total extractions towards my final achievement ("Escape Artist"). After completing my final extraction in Hazard Zone mode in BF2042, there was no pop-up that I unlocked the EA Desktop achievement. I did, however, receive the unlock. But, this would be nice to know so that I don't unnecessarily continue trying to unlock something that I've already unlocked, or have to leave the game to check the status of my EA Desktop achievement. In Origin, we had a pop-up on the bottom right corner - this is what I expect to see with the EA Desktop app.
In Settings, I have "Enable Notifications" and "In-game overlay" both set to OFF. Their descriptions don't say anything about achievement unlock notifications. The former says it's for invites and chat whether I'm in a game or not, and the latter is an overlay like a HUD which I wouldn't necessarily associate with a pop-up notification for achievement unlocks.
