Steam Fallen Order - Don't Launch and can't link achievements

I've seen a few posts about this error, but in my case, I already had the game in the Origin app I played and got 100% of the achievments in the Origin profile, now with the new EA App, they are still there. But I really wanted the achievements on Steam too.

So I linked my accounts and tried to start a new game, to get the achievements again. It wont launch Doens't even have the Steam card on top of the logo.

I can play the game if I download it on the EA App, but then, again, it wont be linked with the Steam Any ideas?

    Hey @Vinyell,

    Owning or installing the same game via different launchers is kinda asking for trouble... 😅 Especially if they are all installed on the same machine.

    Since Steam is a different launcher than the EA app or Origin, it is also pretty much considered a different platform. The unlocked Achievements also don't sync between PC and Console, for example, even not if you have all accounts linked to one and the same EA account. This is also mostly because it is a Single Player, "offline", game and not a Multiplayer game with cross-progression etc.

    Guess you're right lol

    I tried a few different methods, but then got an error instead.

    Like creating a new EA account and linking Steam to it, but then the game just won't launch.

    If I launch the game by the EA app on my first account, it works perfect

    But, without the EA game and just with the Steam one in a new account a error is showed. Something as "Try again later"

    I unistalled the game, so only Steam download remained

    @Vinyell, yeah, I am kinda speaking from personal experience, so yeah... 😅 I know the struggle.

    So just to confirm; the game is now launching as intended, or?
